I've read on here that you can use the male plants to make hash. My question is, can the plants be made into hash at the first signs of sex, or do they need to be more mature.

yeah but that seeded (mexican) pot is not male plant you are smoking. That is pollenated female buds. after reading that guys research mentioned above, I was wrong about THC in males. But you have to pull early even to get THC content thats worth a shit. And I dont know what yall's males look like but there is not a damn part of mine that looks tasty to smoke in any which way. So one question still remains in my head?!? Why the hell would you even waste the time trying to smoke them; grow females!Geez, you guys are hilarious! Of course, male plants have THC. Haven't you ever smoked seeded pot, like Mexican? That's both male and female plants left to grow together. But home growers usually pull males long before they have matured, so the resin isn't as plentiful, but it's just as potent.
