basically its a single screen dry sift. trichome size is 40 microns or less
Silk screens come in a variety of mesh sizes

So basically you can see from the videos someone working (what should be bone dry) plant matter over a silkscreen right? The trichombs are falling through the mesh. you then collect and press the remains. voila , hash!

I think most consider 65 micron screen ideal

Go back a couple pages in this forum and find my tutorial.. it'll help you out a lot. That article listed is ancient history and a terrible example for making dry sift.

depends what size mesh your screens are but there are a few methods.

I've no clue about the 10 second sift method but the wizard mnh could help you with that.

here's another alternative method- the static method.

Static is only for -cleaning- already made sift. My #10secondsift is for producing sift from trim/nug. 2 totally different things.. however my kit does include a 3rd screen for doing such cleaning. The combo of my quick sift and some cleaning can't be beat. I can prove that.

Get a 90lpi and put it under the 60. Use my method. It's not exact but it's close and you will get full melt in seconds.

Cheers.
