Making Tea

I know that tea can be made with EWC and Bat Guano, but what about adding in Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal and Neem Seed Meal? Are those better in a top dressing or are they good in a tea form also?

Neem seed meal is no good a tea. It is not water soluble. You can steep it in water to get rid of fungus gnats, but it is best top dressed. You don't want to waste it in teas.

Alfalfa meal and kelp meal make a great steeped tea by themselves. No need to aerate, just let it soak for 24 to 48 hours. 1/2 tbsp to 1 tbsp of each per gallon of water. This tea will make a great replacement for any of those bullshit growth hormones or booster products they'll sell you at the grow store.

How much do you top dress with Neem seed meal? How often?

I've only made one batch of neem seed tea and I did it for the nitrogen.
Whether or not it's soluble isn't really a factor since I stir it vigorously right before applying and all of the little bits are swirling around in the liquid. So basically, my tea is also a top dressing. 8-)
I use the same method for alfalfa meal since it tends to swell and increase overall viscosity. Also, all of my teas are steeped -- not aerated. I only use aeration for microbial tea.

Speaking of microbial tea, I bought some fancy quick & dirty tea mix because it was $5 instead of $30 (expired).
Much to my surprise, this shit actually works great! My plants *love* it -- especially when combined with a little Floralicious Plus.

I feel like you're trolling me at this point man. Lol
No trolling here!
I was truly surprised how well my plants responded to that fancy tea mix + GH floralicous. Most of the shit in grow stores is overpriced snake oil.
Hell I wish I'd bought more @ $5 each... :dunce:
