Male plant help

I need help please!!! I'm still fairly new at growing and I'm having an issue. Not really realizing it, one of the plants I planted is male, but I only realized it today because I guess I wasn't paying as close attention as I should have. It was planted away from my other 2 plants, so I know they are female and safe. But, Before I throw this male plant out, is there anything I can do with it?

sometimes if I want to open pollinate a whole tray lightly I'll allow a prize male to flower but trim all but designated areas of male organs. this way I can hit five or six plants with only a few seeds, or more if I manually gather pollen. I'd kill it if I were you at this point though, they can mess up a bunch.

Thank you. I'm not looking to pollinate or anything like that. I actually thought that I had planted a feminized seed. This is my 3rd year growing and I had never run into this issue, which is why I had asked the question. I was just wondering if, other than pollinating, if there was anything I could do with it, other than throw it out.

None of those pics show a male plant. Have any pics of the entire plant?

And I know that this is probably a really stupid question, but I honestly have no idea........I just opened up one of the "sacs" and there is a seed in it. I am assuming that this seed would be a male? Would that be right?

The pictures show a female plant and seeds grow in females not males. As for the sex of the seed, it could be anything.

Sorry for my ignorance as I am thoroughly confused lol I don't remember my previous female plants have these pods while growing. Should I continue letting the plant grow then? I only cut one of the stems off of the main plant.

sorry, I didnt look at the pics til now
you have a female plant that has been pollinated. those seeds are from a male plant, or a female that is showing both sexes.
you can let the seeds mature in the bud till they easily pop out and try some.

When you say "try some", do you mean try planting those seeds? Again, pardon my ignorance on this topic.

sure, when the buds are dry, smoke them, but carefully remove the seeds first(pip)
let them dry out in drawer for a week or so more and plant them normally. watch them closely for any strange expressions.
google hermphrodite pictures, then amazon and buy a grow bible, they rock, and are full of every thing marijuana growing .

your seeds could be all female, could be mixed or could be hermaphrodites, in which case you would eat them or whatever, garbage genetics, dont waste your time with a hermaphrodite if you dont have to. good luck feel free to ask anything, always someone here thins they got the answer right...

Do you know if the seeds would be able to be kept until next spring (2018)? I don't grow indoors and growing outdoors here is pretty much limited from May until October (ish).

And once I was to remove the seeds from the pods, I could hang it to dry and then just smoke or vape it as usual?

And thanks so much for your help, I really, really appreciate it. I never had any trouble growing before and so I'm not really sure what to do.

1- yes, if stored in a cool dry space, like a sealed container, in the fridge even

2- hang it to dry, then remove the seeds, then consume the buds

3-it is no problem

rosenthal, cervantes, good grow bibles. groweedeasy .com, http://catnews.org/FREE Pot Books/

any of these will answer all the mystery. good luck

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! One last question (I hope I'm not driving you crazy)......would I be able to store the seeds in a sealed mason jar in the freezer? Or is the fridge better? Again, thank you soooo incredibly much for all of your help. It's very much greatly appreciated!!

be sure they're dry. for instance I've stored some seeds for years in my drying room in a little plastic baggie and just popped some.
after dry they can be stored in the fridge I'd say, better than the freezer, but maybe thats just my swampy freezer who knows right.

So dry the "pods" first before taking the seeds out then? I'm assuming that's what you mean? And I'll be sure to keep them in my fridge just to be on the safe side.

1-dry them as described in those grow links, with the seeds intact. some will fall out
while fussing, those taste good lol
when buds are dry to smoke separate seeds and put them in a dry airy space for a month, like a girlie panty drawer, then to the
fridge or dirt.

2) you are correct

3) not until a month dry, only save the dark ones, stripes are good, green is bad, dark brown with stripes is golden.
