Male w/Double serrated leaves, worth keeping?

Hi, question for anyone who has knowledge in this area. I have two siblings in flower right now. One male one female... different rooms. Anyway, the female showed herself first, then the next day, the male showed his true colors. I was hoping he would be a girl, but not... anyway, I was about to chop him when I noticed he has double serrated leaves. I am pretty new to indoor growing, always outdoor grows, so actually never noticed this trait before. Is this more common than I think? Or is it something that I should develop by knocking up his sister for some seeds? Source was a fairly potent bag, no strain indicated, with only five seeds in it. I Initially thought I had five females, but it turned out that I had four females and the one male. The other three females were given away due to space constraints. Was thinking of pollinating a select site on the female to get some seeds. Any thoughts on this? Also, do males need to be on 12/12? I have him on 12/12 presently. I will try to post a pic of leaves later.
Thanks for any input.

Good questions. As far as the leaves go it would depend one the strain and its dom. and ress. traits. How many others are doing the same thing? But more importantly than the leaves how does he smell? Secondly how do his clusters form? Does he have any coloring? i would pick the best one of the 4 fems u had and pollenate that one if hes looks like he can be a good father. but u will not know for sure until u cross him with a strain that u know very well(preferably non-related). They dont need 12/12 but if u want to get a usable amount of pollen there are many ways to isolate him and harvest some. i prolly would just leave him in there until the 2nd day he starts opening sacs and as long as i make sure the girl has some good hairs on her pull him out and kill him.

meh, I've seen plenty of varieties with double serration, I don't think that is a trait you should focus on. Stick with structure, vigor, odor, etc...
