Let's be honest, Mondays suck ass. You probably got less than optimal sleep the prior weekend, and the party/rec time is over. You've got to wake up early, fight traffic, grab something to eat, spend the day with fuckers you wouldn't voluntarily hang with, drink coffee, attend meetings, blah, blah, blah ad nauseum. Unless you're like me and grow for a living, and spend the majority of time in your nice, comfy, warm house. Before I go bed, I look outside at the dark highway and see annoyed, tired people inching along in the morning rush hour, most heading toward meaningless, unfulfilling jobs they need to work just to be able to live and get by. I'm thankful I'm no longer one of them, I did my time...

How about you? Are you one of these sorry asses, or do you enjoy how you spend your time? This thread is about the Monday blues, so sing your tales of woe. So I can read them while I sit in my lazyboy, wrapped in a blanket, sipping hot chocolate... and smiling. Smiling because I'm glad I'm not you ;)

I'm gonna work about 3 hours today, if you wanna call it that. Don't even need to leave today but I figured I'd get out of the house for a while while the wife cleans.

I have one deer that needs to be picked up in the next two days, about an hour and a half from home. Nice scenic drive with low traffic.

Jesus Tyler you left out the Stomp/drain option! You have been here far to long for this deviation from protocol to be mere accident.

I'm retired now but when I worked Monday did not differ from any other day of the week. Now that I'm retired I LOVE Mondays I can get back on the streets, although December sucks for that.

had a light freeze last night, thin coat of ice on the windows before the sun knocks it off. a fabulous 76° in my house. im just now about to roll out of bed after i smoke this bowl. then i gotta figure out what i should make for breakfast or buy something.

but after typing this ive determined i would make better use of my off time by not getting dressed and being like durden, ima light a blunt and quietly laugh at all the people leaving for work

i think i might go down the river walk today, its so quiet and peaceful on weakdays. plus i think they got the tree out now
(sam antonio riverwalk)
i just love Christmas time
