What the fuck.Blatant discrimination based on your choice of using cannabis. It's none of their business if you choose to medicate with cannabis. Id definitely be calling them then writing my MP. Tell them theres no signature until they implement the same requirements for drivers who are prescribed opiates. Where are the facts that support needing to have this done is going to make anyone any safer? Seems more like theyre trying to make it miserable for patients in hopes theyll choose someone else for insurance then they wont have to take on a "liability"....... Or theyll up your insurance rates.

use a different INS company....seems rather off side
This is the shittiest part about mpi is there is only one insurance company so they have a huge monopoly. They have fucked lots of people over and you have to go right back because Manitoba doesn't allow private autopac insurance

We have ICBC - same shit - different assholes.Yet another reason to keep my personal medical issues to myself and avoid HC and doctors at all costs. Unless EVERY DRIVER is required to complete the form and it is changed to include alcohol consumption amounts and a whole list of pharmadrugs, this will be tossed. When ICBC pulls stupid shit like this I go on a tirade and demand an end to the government monopoly. It's amazing to watch the province back-peddle when the public is screaming about ICBC. Public insurance has been a cash cow for governments to rob. Money paid for insurance is used for general revenue and insurance rates are increased.

Hit them with the anti combine laws, shut down their monopoly. I swear if Ontario ever adopts such a racket I will just drive without insurance or a license. It sure as hell would not be my first time. I never get pulled over anymore and my driving is impeccable, so unless someone hits me it is unlikely I will have an accident.

I'd be surprised if doctors start taking a back seat to insurance companies. MPI is a particularly incompetent entity.
MPI started putting a mobile deer crossing sign a few minutes down the road from me, near an established, marked deer crossing/creek. The sign looks like a Las Vegas marquee flashing in the distance from miles away. The road kill situation has increased exponentially since.
First of all anyone wanting to write off a lemon knows exactly where to do it. Second thing deer aren't afraid of light in fact they seem to find it kind of mesmorizing. Hey MPI do us a favour....... stop coming up with ideas.
