Was reading some of the replies to that article in the comments section. Some guy says pot leads to Fentanyl. It's a gateway drug. It's been proven! lol. Amazing how the anti's still get a platform for this crap, I even saw an article espousing similar sentiments the other day in the "news".

I aways find it funny that people say it leads to harder drug use when I found the opposite it has helped many people get off harder drug use, especially RX drug addiction,

Absolutely. These people and the Dr.'s College should get along great. Basically they say all the people who rely on marijuana instead of opiates are lying, because it doesn't work. You just have to laugh at the presumption...but indeed there is a darker methodology at work, shills paid by the RX industry to outright lie and spread misinformation... which should actually be made illegal and punishable by time in jail!

My job uses lots of volunteers to put on event's. I had a long chat with a former OHL player who was helping out. All the volunteers where from an addiction resource center. He told me how he injured his back playing and was prescribe oxy by the teams doctor. After finishing up his playing career he didn't have access to his teams Dr. to prescribe OXY anymore.
His family Dr. wouldn't prescribe it. So he had to buy it on the street. Apparently heroin is cheaper than OXY
He was really quite messed up.
It really opened my eyes to opioid addiction.
This was 8 years ago.
It gets me quite upset when people compare cannabis to opioids

You should have met my ex....

both have a place and a use....but are generally better not used together....but will create a synergy which does help with chronic
pain....
especially since mmj alone will not always help...depending on the type of pain one experiences.
DEmonizing any drug is just wrong....as most forward thinking countries have determined ...
The proper approach is to legalize all drugs...since prohibition just creates more problems than it solves.
