Only to a racist hypocrite like you.
Hiding behind word salad, racist.

Hypocrite.
I'm defending no one else. Not my job.
Racist.

Hypocrite.
It's been quite the dogpile for the past week, and with very little substance to any of their arguments.

Ignore solves the problem of having to listen to their blather.

The moderation in this section really sucks, if this is tolerated and allowed to continue on multiple threads. It just ruins the section for anyone who wants an honest debate.

You're correct, I even allow your non-ending blather to be posted here. For your information, I moderate this forum exactly like the site owner wants it to be, so if you don't like it then stop posting here. You bitch and moan like a trump kid.

And I allow that, too!

If you've found a way to convert bullshit directly to useable energy, I completely understand your decision.

Fair enough. I'll treat you with all the appropriate respect.

Funny how you aren't calling out the other half dozen people on constant shit post repeat, though.

Social mobility is lower in the United States than any other country besides Great Britain, even while stress is higher and the likelihood of children to be more prosperous than their parents has dropped below 50% since 1980.

America is a great place to BE rich, but it's a shitty place to try to GET rich, especially if you start out poor.

Strange that poor whites have the least hope and the most stress about their ability to move up the socioeconomic ladder, but they've been demonstrated time and again to vote for the right wing- exactly the bunch who are dedicated to making it harder for them to do so.

Naked capitalism again? Sad sad sad.

Your spam would be less spammy if it wasn't all spam from the same shitty spam site.

Don't blame the website for tty's rants. The website makes a decent attempt to post up valid articles that irritate left and right wing bigots. tty adds his own bias and histrionics to what's really basic and bland stuff on that site.

Did you read the article?
I did read the article. It does report results from opinion surveys that show white men are less optimistic and stressed out about it than other categories in the survey.

I was harsh to jump on the "oppressed white guy line" without explanation and would delete that post if I could. In any case, I admit it was over the top.

To me, my take:

It's a jump to conclude that something is wrong with the system because of this. The problem as I see it is twofold. First, it's true that economic gains by the wealthy made by draining wealth from lower economic classes is straining everybody. This is one factor, in my opinion.

The other factor in the results of the survey is the history of white entitlement in this country. This led to really bad conditions in past for minority families and we are finally starting to see improvement in their conditions. Hence the optimism expressed. Younger black and brown men are optimistic that their condition will be better than the previous generation. It's not as if wage gaps, employment propects and wealth of black and brown men is reversing, it's just getting better. As far as white men are concerned, this is probably the first generation that truly has lower prospects than their parents.

So, my line about "poor oppressed white guy" had a double meaning. It was a poke at you for the dramatic flair in your post but it was also a poke at the white guys who are finally getting some of the shit that at one time was deeply layered over minority groups in this country. Also, just because their prospects are less than hoped for, they still enjoy living free from racist bullshit minorities experience daily and can still get pulled over with the full expectation of surviving it.

To be crystal clear, my fight is against classism. I'm not here to defend white privilege or any other color.

How was the article you posted in any way related you your "fight" against classism.

If you had posted evidence that poor whites, who in voting for Trump ensured continuance of concentration of wealth in the 1%, then it would be in line with "your fight". But that's not what was in your article.

The worst extortion racketeers are governments. This one is well known by now, perpetrated as it is along not just class but also racial lines- but it begs the question; in how many other places and through how many types of organizations are various organs of 'our' government doing this to Americans for the benefit of the upper classes?
