Market it going down fast

Man pretty rough for growers atm. For the majority of the market that grows high dubs or low trips $800 maybe $1000 if you're lucky and you'll be lucky if you can actually find someone to take it. One middle guy I talked to says couple of his cash on hand guys pretty told him they're retired and one will only take high quality tops other wise nothing is worth moving as it flooded everywhere. Been hearing from couple of my suppliers that some stores are now even not opening some days as its that slow for sales.

Some guys are still moving their stuff through dispensaries but come legalization once they're gone its going to be like hitting a wall if you depend on weed for your lively hood and have to move 20+lb to live on every 3 months.

Its interesting how many guys have bought excavators and getting their dump trucks and heavy equipment out of storage and getting ready to go back to work.

Really sad.

ANYONE growing well has no issue getting rid of their product.

Much different then gta, price surge after the winter holidays I feel

Not for long, once dispensaries are done the higher end product will stop moving too.

I wasn't expecting things to slow down this fast for the majority of growers and I hope I'm 200% wrong but if it continues the economy is going to take a shitter when people cant pay their bills. There is still a few guy setting up but they are doing it because they feel things will crash and they're thinking is that as most growers disappear they'll be able to fill in the void but that's only a couple guys out of 1000's

Different this time. There's always been ups and downs especially once licenses were easy to get but this time we actually have a secondary legal market coming in and with slow downs at the shop it wasn't really that much of a hit and stuff still moved even lower grade, now its just not going anywhere and I've never heard of people starting to get ready to possibly go back to real work and stores actually not even bothering to open.

The market here in SK always seems to be the same no matter how things are in BC. Only time I seen it change was when all these dispensaries started popping up. But now that the police shut most of those down recently, the black market thrives again. Thank you Chief Evan Bray.

I must be super lucky, still getting $1600 for quads. It’s all going to Ontarible. If you ain’t got quads you ain’t got nothing. Still a far cry from $2800-$3200lbs 6-7 years ago. Once quads drop to $1000lbs I’m out. Will just grow for friends and family for $99ozs

Not true..theres lots of quality bud on the street going cheap right now.

Some people are still getting 1500-2000 but that's mostly to dispensaries on the coast. Most guys can handle $1000 lb as long as it moves, if ACMPR wasn't around I think it would be a different story and prices would have stayed higher since there would be less on the market. I'm just crossing my fingers my shop can last till after legalization as I'm hoping to jump in on the weed store front as I can't see myself having to go and work for someone else bleh. Luckily the store has no dept and all stock is already paid for so I can chug along for a while

Id love to see your quads...for comparison. A buddy of mine is sitting on some primo he cant move at 1500.

There is lots of good stuff for $1000-1200 atm, sure its not just quads (shiny tops with huge stem in them) but descent sized nuggets that smoke good that anyone not with a connoisseur stick up their ass would love to smoke.

When I talked to a buddy of mine who middles yesterday he said the only thing his guy(s) will take is huge shiny/smelly tops nothing else other wise all they are offering is $700-800 to him so $700-750 to the grower.

I predict by this time next year, indoor bud will go extinct...

Quads or bust right now. If it ain't checking every box it ain't moving. So. Many guys out there pumping out mids and trips that just don't have the genetics and skill to grow quads. Just like at the end of the mmar, everyone got a licence and fired up a show without the knowledge to grow top quality, now those are the ones hoping to get 1200 or anything for that matter.

define quads...it will vary from person to person. In the end its all about effect. Appearance really doesnt mean much.
