I'm waiting for my order of the eastern star meeting to start. Was just wondering if anyone wanted some info? Not to recruit, but to share some light on some of their teaching which goes really well with lessons I've learned while tripping. I can share some info, as long as its not a lot of word for word ritual, I'd love to share some things if anyone is interested!!

I sure will. I have been a member of the order of DeMolay, order of the Eastern Star, and a third degree mason. I want to put up some pictures of a lot of the symbolism that we use, it aligns so perfectly with what psychedelics reveal.

At the opening of each meeting (in each different organization), there is a line along the lines of, the hour of refreshment is over, we call you back to labor. They mean that while you are specifically involved with that meeting, its a specific duty that you are performing. Each individual has a specific"job or duty" that is performed during the meeting.
Each "lodge" is set up a different way, and a very specific orientation. For masons, the "seat of power" the "Worshipful masters chair" is in the east. DeMolay the "master councilor" is in the east. OES the "Worthy Matron" is in the east.
Demolay signifies this as saying the master councilor represents the rising sun. Demolay is a young mans organization, 12-21 are eligible, there fore demolay are in the youthful years and represent the rising sun. The junior councilor represents the noonday sun, and the hour of rest and refreshment. This means the junior councilor is also responsible for refreshments

I am not a beer or alcohol drinker, I'm wanting to help describe some of the symbolism and dual meanings in masonry and other organizations, especially the ones that pertain to sacred geometry and mans place in the world

I know I know....just messing with you. As I read through your post the word refreshments just stuck with me.

My dad was/is a mason. Although I don't think he's been to the lodge in like 20 years.

OES is for women, but as a third degree mason, I act as a "sponsoring body" and can attend meetings, and hold certain offices in their meetings.

I thought this thread was about bricklaying...would have been more interesting
This thread has only begun. I will get to your comment, and what is revealed will blow your mind, or enforce some of the convictions we already hold with psychedelic use.
I've never been to one you animal raping "little meetings." There are no animals at any of these meetings other than humans. And for the most part, they draw 50+ members weekly sometimes more than 100 for larger events, which is pretty large considering they only meet twice a month and lodges compete to bring visiting masons.

Did you know... In part of a ritual (I will expand on later) masons plant an ACACIA next to the head of their grand master? Part of the masonic ritual, you are asked:
What do you seek most?
The answer!
LIGHT

Demolay respect parents, but most of all they respect womanhood and mother's. There is a ceremony (about 15-20 minutes long, recited by only one person) dedicated to mothers. I have many times witness mothers in tears after hearing the ritual!
The third councilor in Demolay is the Senior Councilor. He represents the age of adulthood in Demolay (21 years, when you are a "man" now)
Demolay took its name from Jacques DeMolay who was the last grand master of the Knights Templar. His death signifies brotherly love, the ability to be true to an oath, even at the utmost sacrifice.

Outside the door to the meeting room, a Demolay or Masonic "Tyler" tiles the door. This means that he stands, sword drawn, ready to "sound an alarm" and to 'make sure no cowins or eavesdroppers"receive admittance to a meeting. Although their job is symbolic, historically speaking, they were necessary at some point in time to guard the "secrets and make sure non unworthy receive them"

By the way, if I use "..." Quotes, it is my words, paraphrasing ritual. If I use '...' Quotes it is actual ritual, and not enough to reveal too much in the way of secrets.

I will briefly touch on the "speculative" part of masonry.
At the left and right side of the worshipful master, there are two stone blocks called ashters. One is smooth edged and perfect. The other is known as the rough ashter. They symbolize the human being. The rough ashter is us. In our rough form. Before being brought to light (you are blindfolded in part of the ritual. 'In the beginning there was darkness, and then God said, let there be light! You are then unblindfolded, and the masons have positioned their bodies, hands, and feet, in a specific way to show different aspects of sacred geometry, advancement of the mind and spirit, and something else, which is very important, and I will touch back with it later)
After you are brought to light, you are handed working tools of an operative mason, which includes the gavel, square, and plumb.
You then symbolically apply the teachings of these tools to yourself, smoothing out the rough edges and building your body more fit 'for that house not made with human hands, eternal in the heavens'
The square is so you remember to 'square your actions' by thinking of the reactions that will affect NOT yourself but others first, then how it affects you second. The plumb (used to measure interior angles and make sure things were straight) so that you may walk upright among your fellow man, and not have any actions which would make you ashamed of them, or make others ashamed of you. The common gavel is used to break off rough corners on stones, making them smoother and more fit for use.
After you go through the first degree, one begins to see how symbolically they can apply the teachings and become better men and better humans. Smoothing out the rough parts of their soul.

The three councilors in Demolay represent the changing positions of the sun.

There are three lessor lights of masonry representing the sun, moon, and worshipful master, who is a substitute for the planet mercury. These light teach the worshipful master to rule.and govern the lodge like the sun and moon rule and govern the day and night. They are always form the shape of a triangle, and are also representative of the holy trinity.where are triangles familiar?
The number 3 shows up a lot, three steps, 3 lights, 3 councilors, three grand masters. 3 degrees.
Who were the three grand masters? Hiram Abif, a grand architect in king Solomons temple. King Solomon of Israel, and Hiram king of tyre. They represent beauty, wisdom and strength. And light. And once again the holy trinity.
