check out this monster Blue Dream pheno I got .. flipped 12/12 when it was around 15" and in a 2x2x5 tent and was forced to get a bigger/taller tent (2.5x2.5x6) to fit the stretch. The motherfucker stretched to 6"2 and I had to double/triple supercrop all the branches, spreading a trelis net pushing everything down to get the canopy at least 8" from the lights ...

The plant was raised in an Autopot with coco and fed Dyna-gro Foliage Pro / Bloom and Silicon+
Chopped down at 13.5 week after showing sex (around 14.5 weeks after 12/12 flip).

I'm thinking of suppercropping the whole canopy in the next griow horizontal like this to get more bud surface area to an equal distance from light, instead of just the tops.

I'm running it at the moe, I was reading your other thread but it kept logging me out when trying to reply, so will reply here because I'm lazy.

I do much the same as far as supper cropping to fill out the space, but I do it earlier in flower. Looking at your diagram on your other thread if done earlier where you have main colas all the buds that make mains instead make smaller colas. Crazy how much this Blue dream grows.

But anyway, I supper crop all my plants, each gets about 2x2 space and it fills them great. This HSO BD is the first 100% sativa I have run and it behaves very different from the 50/50s I have done.

I think supper cropping is one of the best ways to increase yield, I also do 2x2 scrogs occasionally and although they out yield the supper cropped plants there's not a huge amount in it. You don't have all that fucking about with early veg training that you need to do with scrogs.

Anyhow this is really in response to your supper cropping thread.

Totally agree mate. Before growing the BD i didnt fully understand super cropping but now i fully understand and would be ready to handle a situation like i had if it were to happen again.

I normally top my plants but when i was growing the BD i had limited time so i was trying to get it into flower as soon as i could.

Ill grow it again some time and train it better so as to get a nice yield second time round.

The pheno I'm running now started pretty stocky during training-just flipped so we'll see how much she stretches.

When did you order the seeds? I heard that the blue dream from hso has been garbage for the last year or so. I popped one yesterday and hope I got good ones.

The seeds are very small.

I don't remember the seed appearence to be honest, I popped 3 seeds and they all turned out different, no phenotype consistency whatsoever. I got em from a local shop, I doubt they stock so they were probably fresh.

Wow, just picked some up this week from Sensible Seeds, but after reading this I'm may have to change the schedule a bit and get the BD's into flower earlier, for 35 days from popping that veg pic is huge man ;?)

Newguy, mine all seem pretty fat and healthy looking, but in my xp it's hard to judge a plant by it's seed size (I hear hemp seeds are really big, lol). Good luck with yours, I'm probably going to wait another week now and pop the BD's so that they don't outpace the other strains in the veg room.

Yo! I know this thread is old but I was curious why you were sketched out /about ordering seeds... I have had mine nabbed at the border and heard nothing back. They did however send the empty package, The sobs
