Master Kush

This is going to be my first real journal. I'm going to upload regular pic's from start to finish. Everything from germ', nutes, medium and selection of mother plant.

I've got a pack of 10 master kush that I've kept frozen for a couple of months. Due to space I'm only going to germinate 5 of them. I have an experiment going on with the germination process.

I'm trying to germinate two of the five seeds without defrosting them first. The other three I'm going to allow to defrost for a few hours at room temp' before putting them onto the germ' plate.

The first pic is of the 2 frozen seeds about to go into germ'. Out of the 8 seeds left in the other pic' I have selected 3 to defrost and germinate alongside the frozen ones.

I shall be following this one!

Interestingly I'm putting up a 'grow diary' of my next grow of Kalichakra and Satori today as well, will be interesting watching both grows going alongside each other although I'd say I'm about a week or so ahead you but in soil, so in hydro you should catch up and over-take me.

I can only hope. Any chance of a link to your thread? I'd like to follow yours too.

To start with I'll be using hydro, not too sure yet what this will be but I have some rockwool, perlite and clay pebbles.

I'll be vegging them beneath a 400w MH. Thanks for the link greyskull, I'll check it out.

My first seed has cracked and a tiny tail can now be sen poking through the gap.

It is also one of the seeds that was frozen when I put it straight into germ'. The frozen seed would have suffered a quick thaw the moment it came into contact with the water.

Although this doesn't prove that frozen seeds germinate faster it proves they will germinate just as quickly. I have some pic's but my camera is only 4mp and I'm not sure how they'll turn out. Or, if I'll be able to upload them, I've been having difficulty with this recently.

My Mr jack herer seeds have arrived promptly this morning.

I'm going to keep 4 of them to grow a mother, and I'll probably germinate them in the next week, i'm going to split the others between a couple of friends

400w MH will get you good results for vegging. I am looking forward to watching your ladies (hopefully) progress.

Here's a pic' of the mediums and vegging nutes I'll be using. The OGP will be used for the first week, maybe 10 days to the young seedlings before starting with the sensi grow. I'll also use minute amounts of sensizym and voodoo juice throughout the ogp cycle.

I've also just bought this bag of coco. So I have coco, perlite, hydroton pebbles and I also have some rockwool should i decide to add any of that.

I'll post full nuting regimen alongside regular pic's of my plants and how they are progressing.

Here's the nute and mediums line-up.

I will also be adding some more nutes along the way, it's just that I've run out of everything else... but I'll be sure to upload pic's of any additions I make. The most likely will be barricade.

Having just looked at the seeds it seems that all 5 will be ready to be placed into the medium tomorrow morning.

Which gives me plenty of time to decide exactly what medium(s) I'll be using and to get them ready and drained for the seeds to go in.

I'll try my best to keep every tiny detail logged and if pos. pictures to match.
