This is Matanuska ThunderFuck from Greenthumb seeds.
It's an old school strain of unknown origin but as you can see it's all, or mostly all, sativa.
Apparently, there is or was, a lot of controversy about this Alaskan strain. It seems that though it didn't originate in Alaska, it made its way there and became popular.

Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!

No fuss to these whatsoever.

Plant one was less productive than plant two but both looked nearly identical to the pics on the Greenthumb web site.

TASTE-

Hard to nail down fruity taste when smoked. But, in a vape, the citrus comes through strong….really strong.

Tangerine, pineapple, and lime, seem to be what patients notice.

Flavor Intensity-(Sour Diesel or Bubba Kush would be a 9 or 10.)

In a vape----9 or 10











Harsh/smoothness: (1-10, 1 being extremely harsh and 10 being extremely smooth) --

Flavor Comments-

Although the fruity part is different, it's somewhat similar to Panama Red in regards to the sweet grass taste. Strong flavor but didn't quite make the "super strong" rating of an 8 or higher (unless vaped).

But, having said that, I like this very much and turn to it often.









BUZZ Profile—

Sativa all the way with a slight low end kick.

Strong, uplifting high, good for creative endeavors, or some good old fashioned woolgathering.

My patient loves it and compares it to a computer program that is working in the background. You could be surfing the web, not noticing the program is working, but when you call it up, you can see it is in fact working, and, at a high rate of speed and accuracy.

Which is another way to say…."you is fucked up, but can still functionate."

Final Comment-

The name is a mouthful, but…….

Similar buzz to Panama Red but without any of the paranoia and for my money, not quite as strong an uplift. But, it has much better bag appeal, better yield, and much shorter flower time. This is a more commercial version of PR, with its dense buds, crystal covering, and a hint of low end kick. I will definitely be growing this again for myself and judging by patient reaction, they will be requesting it again as well.
