Maximizing Yield in 4x4

4x4 Gorilla tent-
I've been tossing around some ideas for getting the best yield in that space. I'm stuck between doing a SOG with soil (had decent results in the past) or perhaps a HEMPY SCROG with 4-5 plants. I'm ready to accept all advice and techniques. Let me know what you all think.

How are you going to fit 2 600 HPS in a 4x4 tent? Put one 600 with a nice air cooled hood and a 6 inch inline fan with a speed controller. Fits 9 smallish plants well in 3 gallon smart pots yield a pound or more depending on strain. Make sure to get a high quality bulb makes a real significant difference I found the Ushio bulbs to be really good.

you can fit 2 600w hps in a 4ft x 4ft tent (scog vertcal grow) and pull a very large yeild, a lot of work but sure it can be done

lol you can fit 2 - 1000 in there also as long as you got proper vent i would look at the comercial 5000 - 25,000 watt ones haha seriously
a 4 x 4 tent is rather small and being a tent i personally think 1 600 maybe 1 1000 i you got power on exhaust end and probablya 2 plant scrog vegged will with out a doubt give you best possible yield forget the vertical non sense

did you read the op thread and Moderndayhippy is talking about using 2 x 600w hps in a 4ft x4ft room to max the yeild

I have done a 4ft x 4ft tent (scog vertcal grow) with a single 600w hps and wished I added a second 600w hps
the yeild was high (not 3lbs lol) but it was good

vertcal 8" Cool Tube from the floor to ceiling would stop the heat and give you a very large canopy/yeild and the room would be full bud :)

I think I'll just do a single 1000w light. How many hempys should I scrog for my 4x4?

now try working in there it would be a gong show 4 feet x 4 feet enclosed is small at the end o it all the grower worked 10 times harder in canopy management then if he just did scrog horizontal you take 8 " out of the middle of 4 x 4 how do you work on the inside when plants are growing on the outside lol
there is a ton of myths about vertical growing one being it out yields Horizontal when you factor in many things its not even close i mean the biggest thing is with bare bulb is the it loses its intensity 360 degrees way faster then horizontal where both ends of the light is reflected and again 98 percent towards the canopy i will take 2 percent loss in reflective rather then 15 - 20 percent from a tube any day of the week

personlly 1000 watt would be a good choice your going to have probably heat issues and struggle with RH like i said get a good exhaust fan what i would do and have done is use totes i would say 2 - 3 plants maybe 4 pending on veg time and training

I built a 4ft x 4ft tent on a large turn table with a hole in the bottom and top so I could turn the room 360

I could open all 4 door and had 4 plants so I could remove or turn the plant on the spot and train/support the buds in the screen (4ft high x 3 ft wide vertcal sceen fixed to each pot )

didn't have any problem with the setup

sorry fellow not sure as I am a cheap ass and built my room out of 50mm insulation board,timber and painted the walls white

cost about the same as a decent tent but a lot better

i thought about making "boothes" in my new room.
table with "walls" at tabletop level, open top and bottom. one wall entry, hood with no glass and dumped outside booth back into room. room is sealed also. walls made with light wood frames and foil faced styro insulation.
