Again, as I have stated before, I am not a cannabis connoisseur; I just want to get information about LP's out there.

Strains

~Red Nº1 (Purple Kush)~
THC: 18%
CBD: 0.3%
Effects:PERFECT for my insomnia and abdominal cramps. Best used before bed.
Length of effects: 2 hours
Smell: Spicy, earthy, slightly sweet.
Cure: Very sticky, slightly spongy.
Burn: Clean, white ash.
Taste: Slight spicy oregano.





Camera: Canon EOS SL1 w/Canon 50mm f2.5 Compact Macro and Canon EFS 18-55 lenses.

How does it burn? Do you cough, is the ash white, is it flavorful even the last 1/4-1/8 of a joint? (just notice your comment on burn - edit)

Whats the price and packaging like?

Thanks for the info, cant believe there isnt dedicated sites for reviews and info yet, seems like an easy money maker for web type people and google adsense or whatever have you.

Doesn't look that good to me. Mind you, none of what LP's have to offer does. I learned my lesson with p.n. I won't be filling my prescription with any of them again.

Pic looks fine to me, but like really I am sick of PK, lets see some old school flavors with true med value.

puny unfinished swag bud is what I see.
If the ones who are wondering can't tell the diff between good and bad bud, I'm not about to explain years of knowledge in a silly thread like this one talking about something that is supposed to be OK reviewed by someone who admittedly knows nothing. I guess I have to spell it out for you eh

To me, it looks like the bud wasn't given time to mature and was handled too much. Properly grown purple kush should be absolutely covered in trichs.

Nope, not a Mettrum troll, just someone who is trying to get information to be better informed about the LPs that are out there and what they are offering. Growing my own is not an option (at this point) and the black market here doesn't offer me the luxury of knowing who grew it, how it was grown, and what the strain is.
As shitty as the new system might be and the buds that go along with it, I still think it's interesting to see what is out there and I value the reviews. Always looking to learn more from experts out there.

'Better informed about LP's'. The grow Bunk to profit off the sick and dying. That should be enough info for you, or anyone else for that matter.

This is great info that's true. No one in their right mind would buy such shwag.

I find purple kush to be highly overrated, in fact I have a few grams that have been sitting in my drawer for over a month now (all kinds of markets are flooded with it) because I'm busy using better tasting and better acting strains. That doesn't even look like good purple kush anyway. I had to enlarge the picture and squint just to see a trichome. There's a few video reviews of Mettrum product out their, most people couldn't even smoke it because it was such crap. I'm more interested in seeing how the newer LPs product is, we already know the original 5 or 6 LPs can't grow for shit, maybe one of the newer ones actually can.

Look gb123, if you literally have nothing else to say other than to put down all the LP's that anyone ever has a question or concern about then stop interruption someone who is giving back to our community by giving his/her experience with LP's. I welcome those experiences as it will help shape my approach to the whole situation. So please allow people to feel free from ridicule when they post on RIU.

I've often wondered this about Purple Kush...is it, indeed, an awesome strain because so many people grow it/mention it OR is it overhyped and overproduced?

j0yr1d3, what are some better tasting and better acting strains you've had? I've enjoyed Strawberry Cheesecake of late...

There are a few good cuts of PK. Most are junk. All of them will put you to sleep, which I don't enjoy, but some do.

It's overproduced and not so well received anymore. Quick tolerance build up to it as well.
