Anyone know how Mettrum got their licence?
PP aka Cannimed is a no brainer.
Natural Peace Project becomes clear when you do a little digging.
Mettrum?...How, why? Everyone else is in a stall mode. No issues to build...yet Mettrum gets theirs??

Uhhh... not to be an asshole, but... they put their application together fairly well and it was approved likely because they had contacts within the body that grants approvals. This is how it works with government. All the loosely worded and badly defined regulations for licensing are by design... so that the approval board or committee or whatever it is can pick and choose who they grant licenses too simply by choosing which badly defined regulation has not been met to satisfaction.

Anyway, so the better question is "who" is Mettrum? And that's I question I asked in another thread. Nobody seems to know.

Nothing in your post would make me think that you're an asshole.
I'm not privy to their application, so I don't know how well it was put together.
I am thinking you are correct in suggesting they have the right contacts.
I believe they have a background in the hemp seed / oil industry, but not sure on this...

Their background is in Hemp. I know a lab that was licensed to test hemp, and they very easily got their new license to test marijuana. So it is understandable now to see how Mettrum got theirs.

My understanding is any lab can test marijuana samples so long as they are under X amount (which is a really fuckin small amount like micrograms).

Dear Farmer J,
We’re changing our name from Mettrum to Spectrum Cannabis! Our trusted products will remain the same, but with a brand new look aimed at shining the spotlight on the Spectrum. It’s just another way we’re simplifying medical cannabis.
Why are we changing?
When we first introduced Canadians to the Mettrum Spectrum, we knew we were on to something special. Not only was it well received by the medical community, but by the very patients we aim to help. It truly was “Medical Cannabis. Simplified.” So in the spirit of such simplification, we’re dropping the “Mettrum” and shining the spotlight on “Spectrum”.

When these changes take place, the trusted products you’ve come to expect will remain the same. Yellow Cannabis Oil will still be Yellow Cannabis Oil and Red No 1 will still be just that. However, rather than seeing a Mettrum logo and label on your bottle, you’ll begin to see Spectrum Cannabis instead.

Categorizing strains by the Spectrum has allowed our Customer Care Team and prescribing healthcare professionals to speak the same language, maintain consistent terminology, and ensure effective communication with patients during the product selection process.

At Tweed Main Street, every product is categorized according to the Spectrum. No matter what the brand is, the product strain will fit into one of our 6 Spectrum colours, ultimately allowing for an easier selection process for our customers.

We know that you will continue to benefit from the same medical cannabis under our new name: Spectrum Cannabis.
Keep an eye on TweedMainStreet.com, Facebook and Twitter to see the new Spectrum branding within the next few weeks

Clearly a name change to try and keep investors from knowing of their current lawsuit(s) under the Mettrum name. Hellth Canaduh should have pulled their license, but we all know ShiTweed sucks Hellth Canaduh's dik.

I don't purchase from them, but natural health services requires me to have a script with an LP even though I am a registered grower. My script is split 50/50 with Tweed/Tilray and they both email me dogshit once a week.

Yeah that seems fucked. You can grow without having to buy from an LP. Anyone advising you otherwise is wrong or purposefully misleading people. Unless they meant in the interim until your harvest.

Did you folks misread his post? He says he does not buy from them, but that they e-mail him dogshit ( I would guess it is just something they have to offer). A little over a year ago I inquired at Broken Coast about their products (for the wife's script). Never joined or followed up but somehow a few weeks back they send me an e-mail encouraging me to order. I do not even have a script for myself but they seemed interested in selling to me anyway. I received a 2nd e-mail a few days later and I unsubscribed from their spam.

Sorry for not being clear, but yeah that is what I was trying to say. Dogshit as in the emails I get. Tilray was even calling me every other week to see why I wasn't buying anything. I finally answered the phone and told them if I didn't need to because I am self sufficient.

CALLING TO SEE WHY YOU WERE NOT BUYING POISON?:spew::wall::hump:...seems like an easy choice
