I think the 75% loss of water is just a general 'guideline' in terms of plants in general losing water mass once they have been clipped from the mother plant because I've been reading up on it since I've harvested and people always get different numbers. I definitely think differing overall plant genetics and even strain genetics play a part in how much you will end up yielding.

With that said keep us posted on your net yield and future grows :)

Okay everyone... I think this is pretty much the round-up post for this thread.

Back on Sunday I checked on the plants in the box, the stems were still a little bendy, and there was no real *snap* to them when I bent them, but the outsides of the buds were super-dry. So I went with my instinct and trimmed them all right down, and have had them sat in their airproof jar since then, doing a little curing.

Here's some pics of the final stage.

I never did find my weed scales, so it's inaccurate kitchen scales for the win!

So, give or take a g, we have a grand result of 26 grams!! I'm pretty fucking happy with that man, that equates to around £160 in these parts. So I've saved myself a pretty penny, I have enough personal to keep me stoned for a good while yet, and I've still got some more seeds once I get the box prepped up for the second grow.

I reckon I pinched more than a couple of grams from this plant in the final harvest, had I kept my hands to myself, I'm pretty certain I coulda scored an oz here.

Still, I'm incredibly impressed with the power of 3 CFL bulbs.

Okay, the bud is pretty airy around the edges, but compacts as it gets closer to the stem. It's still a little sticky, and it smells really fruity, almost orangey.

It tastes great, it's got a nice full fruity flavour to it, and it's a really smooth smoke too.

Stonerwise, well, it certainly does the job. It might not be some killer hybrid weed, but I reckon it outperforms most of the stuff I've bought in the last few years. I'd give it a solid 8/10. Definitely grow this girl again, tho next time I will veg for a while first, and be far more careful about trimming too many fan leaves.

Happy days Roll It Up!

Intending to start the next grow around Sept, aiming for a Crimbo harvest.

Peace out / mewk.

Nice one! What mods have you mind?
Well I need to completely light-proof / smell-proof the box. I also need to change the fittings for the lights to ceramic fittings as their lower profile, which'll mean I can install the lights horizontally, instead of how they are at the moment, giving me an extra couple inches of grow room. I should also get a better fan, as I think this one really struggles pushing air through the carbon filter.

Then technique wise. I will let her fill out a good part of the box just by vegging her for a couple or more weeks. I'll still probably LST from early days. I'll also hold waaay back on the trimming, so that I can hopefully get a nice little bush going, like emannn's grow.

As I've managed to pull almost an oz off of this plant, I'm pretty confident that with a reworked box, a little extra experience and some self control. I would hope to pull an oz and a half upwards in the next grow.

I just cut down a cheap plastic window planter pot. It turned out to be perfect depth for the pc once i'de trimmed the top off. I did a how to somewhere. Will try and attach it.
Thanks! Just bought 6 air pots 3 1gallon and 3 small ones for a pc grow. There like the 1 or 3 liter one not exactly sure

A bit late to the party here but congrats!! I've been checking in on this grow and the yield you got there was fantastic for a PC box. Looking forward to the next grow :D Enjoy the fruits of your labour in the meantime ;-)
