So I am beginning to chop my 12/12 from seed perpetual mini-grow under 300w Metal-Halide Light. I normally convert to Hps in flower but some info I read about the effects of Blue/violet/Uv light convinced me to try flowering under MH light. Of course both spectrums would be best, but this is about one spectrum vs. another. The plants are getting 75w MH- Lighting per sq. ft. and are the girls are loving it. Just personal meds for myself so I'm not really concerned with a huge yield. I have found a number of benefits in using the MH Lamp over the typical Hps flowering. It's a superior end product in terms of terpene/resin quality & production and of course, end potency. This strain is something I created 2 yrs ago and it consists of : Afghani#1 (male) x Durga Mata II med-strain, - (Paradise Seeds). Good Medicinal Indica qualities all the way around, including speedy maturation time of about 50 days. The Afghani dad increases potency and density of the progeny, and adds depth to the medicinal qualities. Great in times when you can't sleep, muscle-relaxant and general anesthetic. Deep and soothing, A little goes a long way
