Hey y'all, I'm new here and wondering if anyone knows to what extent spouses are covered through the law, if there is any murky wording, grey areas, etc. One of us is legal and we have a caregiver, I'm pretty positive as we have kids we can't grow ourselves, but our CG is fantastic so it works for now. So if the non-legal goes to get meds for the legal and is pulled over is there any issue? I'm assuming yes, but want to know what facts are out there anyhow. Sorry to be so ill-informed but we're new to this all. Thanks a bunch! Fellow Michigander who loves this law.
(Also the non-legal has a condition that qualifies but is terrified of doctors so has no record of said condition....just get it over with, see the doc a few times and go for it at a somewhat later date? Money is tight and 300 bucks for another scrip and app is kinda much after just getting one done.)

thanks, going to be moving in 3 months and they are so backed up I just want to be prepared. Still have a 2 month wait on my first cg card...sigh

i have kids and grow-
they don't go near the things that i declare off limits, and locks of course
at the rate that you're paying for meds, you could grow your own and SAVE all that money, which of course a penny saved............
check the site out,there are alot of guys (and some girls) that have very nice small medical grows
as far as the original question, the consensus is NO, the old lady can't pick up the ganj, but in my case she can pick up percocet and oxy, but not weed, i don't see the difference
this will change in time as more people gain experience with people using marijauna and it not making them crazy

lol yea and then it expires in 5 months and then you cant renew till those five or so months and then your waiting on the new card and yur not concidered legit for another 7 months to be legal for another 5 months. you guys see what im sayin right?

Edit: Only 44 bucks for 12/mo nearby, going to spring for that probably.

Cashed check on 3/25 for the change form. No new CG or patient card yet...

Hope for mine some time in August, check cashed May 3. Kinda like social security; I paid for someone else to get there card.

Hey thanks Murphy. We're still a ways away from growing but I think that whenever that does happen we'll be fine so long as we're careful as can be considering the kids. What will eventually happen is the non-patient spouse will simply become the caregiver for the patient. Glad to be a part of the forum and I'll be researching alot to prepare for that time whenever it comes. Hopefully I can contribute a bit as well.
