Mid power led mounting tips pls

I found some cheap 212 lm/w diodes. I've never played with these. Do i simply prefab a pcb to hold 100 lights and solder them on? So, the leds never physically touch the heatsink? Seems like trouble. .. Help required please.

Do I neeeeeeed a heatsink or just drive a low power with a fan?

Should I just get those LED pcb stars that can be mounted to a heat-shtink?

what if i simply soldered to a conventional PCB with Cu pads?

most people use smd with reflow.
