That GDP was bagseed. I only know it was GDP because the guy who sold me the weed and gave me the seed only sells Blue Dream and GDP. That's what his grower prefers to grow. Pretty ghetto area.
Pretty over-played strains, for sure. I have some HSO Blue Dream in veg, I'm basically growing it because people ask for it. It doesn't do a lot for me.
How do you run 12/12 from seed, exactly? And does it yield "enough"?
Just pop them and run 12/12 lighting schedule from the get-go, a lot of people run their SOG 12/12 from seed or at least from rooted clones. They can get pretty dang big, they don't always, depends on the strain it would seem.

If you run 12/12 from seed, I recommend using 2 or 3 gallon pots vs one because it lessens the amount of times you need to water them and will increase your yield. I'm almost done with the five plants I ran 12/12 from seed in one gallon pots and the ones I topped will give me a quarter a piece +/- and the two untouched plants will yield a half zip +/-. No more topping 12/12 from seed anymore for me.

Some shots of the next round in veg.

The Cherry Bomb seems like an old seed; weird leaves, slow growth, didn't respond to topping like a normal plant, had to bend her over hard and top her again, meow.

Honey Bananas is responding to bondage in a beautiful way, check her out, I'm excited for this one:

HSO Blue Dream is lanky, but has a great structure and is responding to training nicely, as well:

Purple Paralysis is branchy but open, also a very nice structure:

Three out of four ain't bad, not sure if I'll even run the Cherry Bomb.

After careful consideration last night;

I have not dropped the SFV bean, because my neighbor is going to give me his world-class cut.

I decided to drop two more Heavyweight Fruit Punch beans.

I did some pruning in the veg closet and grabbed cuttings off of the HSO Blue Dream and Honey Bananas.

I am cloning the HSO BD because it seems to be the sativa-dominant pheno and I have read good things about that.

I am cloning the Honey Bananas because I can just tell it is a winner, somehow. It is the best-structured plant I've ever had, for my personal use-case and growing style, and rubbing the stems and smelling my fingers yields an aroma I've never encountered before. I've only growing for a year, but I've been smoking the dankness for 25 and I have the nose of an executive chef. I might be a super-taster.

I can smell your (yes, you!) body odor from like 10 feet away, even when you're freshly clean.

I don't judge, though, because I can smell everybody.
I can literally smell a fresh cucumber getting cut open from 100 yards.
I smell wild animals, and pets, before I see them.

There's so much cat, dog, and human piss and shit everywhere, just be glad you are not so afflicted! Life stinks!

I've learned to revel in the stench of many things. Not all, but many.
