Tell me again how great Sanders was on policies that affect African Americans.
He espoused policy positions that would disproportionately benefit minorities and women

Which candidate do you feel was better? Why? Be specific

A vote during an election is the only poll result that matters.
OK, but what about the polls conducted outside an election? Do those matter?
Bernie sucked when it came to African American votes.
Do you believe Sanders performed poorly among minorities because his policy positions didn't reflect their concerns?
Sanders is selling out to systemic racism. His speeches today reflect a movement to the right. His statements regarding "people too tired about pc" are new and one of the reasons why I say Bernie Sanders is selling out to systemic racism to get more white peoples votes.
Sanders is selling out to systemic racism because he argued that people are tired of political correctness?

Sanders has said repeatedly, in virtually every speech, that racism is an important issue that should be addressed;

Bernie Sanders blasts inequality, racism in Brooklyn College commencement
Bernie Sanders Calls on Trump to Revoke Appointment of “Racist” Bannon

  • On Tuesday, outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid also called on President-elect Trump to rescind Bannon's appointment
Pretzel boy can't twist Sanders' actual quotes
I can't say if I'll support him in 2020 until I see who he's running against.
You're not kidding anyone. You've spent the last 11 months shitting on Sanders, worse than any Sanders supporters here ever did with Clinton. You disgruntled child.

Are we not to question or criticize our elected officials? You sound like a faithful Trump supporter.

If I voted for Sanders it would be illegal.
I can't vote for Sanders so I don't support HIM.
Most of his policies, I like. On most, I expect him to punt.
You don't have to vote for Sanders to support him. I live in CA, I support Sanders. I didn't ask you if you would vote for him. I asked if you support him as a US Senator. It really is a very simple question that, for some reason, you're having a very difficult time answering..

I'm not aware of any law that says you're not allowed to support a politician unless you're legally allowed to vote for them, maybe you can cite it for me?

But let's just skip all the bullshit, because we both know where this is going..

You don't want to admit you support Sanders because that would lend credibility to our side of the debate. At the same time, you don't want to deny you support him because of all the previous posts you've made that show you do and you would be schooled, again, if you claimed you don't.

This is your roundabout way of playing both sides of the issue, as st0wandgrow pointed out

This ubiquitous "officer safety" above all axiom has destroyed civil service. This precedence has abridged "peace officer" in to militarized police. a law enforcement officer on the street has more power then any judge. twisting probable cause, with no supervision and only internal regulation to observe themselves. its sounds like bad science fiction. buts its real. Police throw obstruction of justice, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer in just about any instance they are challenged. the power is so skewed that anything other then complete oppression and compliance is required in any encounter with an officer.
Did you hear about the officer who got let go because he joked about killing black people? All while actual cops who have murdered black people, on tape, in cold blood, get let go?

What part of "election polls are the only ones that matter" don't you understand? Opinion polls are interesting and should initiate investigations into why people's opinions were so. They don't predict how people are going to vote. Votes matter because they force people to make choices with consequences. Opinion polls have no consequence and people don't put nearly as much thought into them.

I never shit on Sanders. I shit on his supporters though.

Sanders sucked with the African American vote last year. You say Clinton was one of the worst candidates ever but she got 75% of their vote. Tell me how great Sanders is with NAACP and opinion polls. He sucked in getting African American votes even when going against an awful candidate. How bad is that?

That and other backsliding from late 2016 to 2017. Yeah. He's selling out to systemic racism and sexism to get more white votes. It's going to work too.

I don't think I've called you either of those things, but keep being intellectually dishonest. It seems to be your thing.
You run with the same crowd. You've said nothing, to me at least, that would prove otherwise
Support means what to you?
Supporting a politician, to me, means you support more of their policy positions than you don't. For example, I disagree in regards to policy with Sanders on nuclear energy. He believes the risks outweigh the rewards, I feel the opposite. Yet I continue to support him in our government as a US Senator because of the policy positions he does espouse which we've been over.
Support: vote, money or time. If you give none of those to Bernie then you don't support him either.
Fail x3

I did give assistance to Sanders during his campaign in the form of vote, money, and time

I don't have time or money for other state's senators and can't vote for them.
So you're saying that you don't support any Democratic Senators outside of Oregon, then, correct?
You are retarded and I'm not.

What part of "election polls are the only ones that matter don't you understand?"
I don't seem to understand why you believe election polls are the only ones that matter outside elections. Do polls outside elections hold any value at all? Are they "fake news"? Is the Harvard study I cited earlier just some fabricated story with no basis in reality?
They don't predict how people are going to vote.
Nobody but you ever even suggested as much. That's not the claim.
Votes matter because they force people to make choices with consequences.

Didn't you recently claim Sanders medicare for all bill was all for show since Republicans control congress, and he was just proposing it to placate progressives? He doesn't actually believe in it? He's "lukewarm" on the idea? He's "sheepdogging" real progressives?

I never shit on Sanders. I shit on his supporters though.
Then why can't you bring yourself to admit you support him as a US Senator?

The majority of African Americans voted against their objective best interest, as did poor white Trump supporters

lol have you considered suicide? I mean since you're such an inferior degenerate it makes sense that you should just kill yourself. I mean it's not like you have a chance in hell of killing anyone else.

You should try it, it would improve your life and those of your loved one--- well it will improve your shitty life.
I was once very close to suicide yes, not bc I was depressed but bc I was afraid of harming others, that conscience is gone now. No offense but I have saved many people from suicide and here you are suggesting suicide, who is the inferior degenerate? My life couldn't get much better I am very content.

Agreed. 'Officer safety' is no excuse to run roughshod over the Civil Rights of the citizens they interact with.

Somehow, police of other developed nations manage to do their jobs without carrying firearms (British police) or killing large numbers of people (Germany).

Part of the reason why is accountability. Police in other developed nations are expected to conduct themselves to a higher standard than the minimum- they aren't given 'leeway' because of 'their job'. That kind of thinking has destroyed trust while 'justifying' their decades long killing spree.
