here is the list of answers to your questions.

- Brand was Plant Prod (they even make MMJ based nutrients, a Canadian company
- followed directions and even kept on the light side. Dispersed through out the medium.
- Also used boosters, all feeds >20% run off
- plants not inferior quality but thanks for checking
- growing conditions where prime, all other plants in same condition w/o the used of the pellets provided A+ bud and >1/4 lb dry each
- comparing AN w/ MG is not even debatable IMO.

If other people are smoking your gear, you should be informing them prior that MG shake and feed was used.
Which is why you also water with regular hydro nutes. I never suggested using the granules only, though I said it might be possible. My thing is to use the granules in addition. You never tried that yet, right?

some people will always talk shit about mg..
ill never understand but whatever, is what it is
Seems like a clean brand to me, from the test results on the page I linked. Maybe people heard rumors about the arsenic, but didn't know it was only in the weed killers with fertilizer products, not the pure fertilizers. They probably got complaints enough that they cleaned up long ago. Plant Prod is probably good too. I'll see if I can find their slow release product and compare to the Shake 'n Feed, which just has the coolest name around. I like to shake and I like to feed.

Okay I found your problem. You used the Plant Prod 14-14-14 hanging basket fertilizer. Just not designed for total plant nutrition. You need some S 'n F.

I use MG plant food (veg) and MG bloom (flowering) and get great results but with time released plant food it was very difficult to control nutrient levels and ended up burning one plant.that was an early grow but I learned from that mistake and don't use anything that I can't flush out.

Maybe if used at half the recommended rate.

well since you can't flush that stuff I don't want to take a chance with my girls
As you wish. SnF does get used up in 3-4 months though, which is faster than the hanging basket fertilizer which is 6 months. Anyway, just something I want to try. Could turn out that I don't like the results either. But if it does increase yield significantly, I probably won't mind if it's a little harsh or whatever.

Turns out the SnF is pretty dirty after all. Here's the test results. Guess that wasn't such a great buy after all. Maybe the levels aren't that high compared to other brands, haven't checked yet. At least the NutriPlus tested clean, all less than 1 ppm.
