Miracle Grow

I found in my house two varieties of Miracle Grow : a regular one, and one that says something along the lines of Flower Booster.

Hmmm.. flower booster.. bud booster?

I was wondering if anybody knows the effects of using that on my plant - will there be more buds? Will it affect the THC content? Should I use it from the beginning of growing or not until flowering?

The MG fertilizer is better than their soil.. It works very well when used properly..

definitley not the CHOICE of many growers who prefer to spend MORE MONEY..

: )

thanks for the replies!

ok i checked out the NPKs....

MG is
N - 15
P - 30
K - 15

MG bloom booster is
N - 10
P - 52
K - 10

i also have this stuff called Dynamite
N - 18
P - 6
K - 8

I should use the last for the grow cycle, yes? And what about the other ones, what do you think? They also have other things in them, like Mg, but the large amounts are all NPK.

Yes, use the dynamite stuff for the grow. Then switch to the bloom booster for bloom. lol duh. Just put the other mg back on the shelf.

i hate miracle grow...period. no punchline i just dont like it for some reason. maybe because its over priced and burns roots? possibly

Miracle-Gro is a brand of consumer garden products sold by the company's miracle puppy Scotts. It makes for a lawn care fertilizer, vegetables, flowers and potted plants, trees and shrubs, and citrus and palm trees, and flowers. The most common application is to solve the fertilizers referred to in the amount of water and applied directly to the soil.

Jacks Houseplant Special. From veg to harvest. It's 15-30-15. I've found no downside to a high P fert during veg. I read that it can cause lanky plant's but I've yet to see it. Plus by the time 12/12 comes they're already loaded up with P and start producing GIANT buds in only a few days. I do notice some purple stems and the larger fan leaves which may or may not be connected to the high P fert in veg, but I always thought purple stems signified a P deficiency. Other than that though, my plants have never looked better.

Might try the Jack's Classic 20-20-20, but this is working great for me so why switch? 1/4 strength after the clones have rooted and have a couple new nodes and you'll never go wrong. Even if you use tap, get some Cal-mag and use it. It never hurts and you'll never have to worry about Mag defciency and the headaches that come with it. I use tap, but still got mag problems, when I added 5ml per gallon to my tap, the problems disappeared.

dude have you ever taken a hit of bud that really burned the back of your neck and tasted like shit? Thats what miracle gro does. whatever you do dont put that on your plant

Miracle grow bloom works fine for me... I just use a little less than the feeding guide. I folar feed as the lights come on daily and water every 2-3 days using MG. if you flush the plant and feed with plan ph'd water you will be fine. It's people who don't know how to grow that you get that chem burn as you blaze. But like I said if you switch to straight water feeding the last say 2 weeks you won't have that chem burn. It will be a good smoke. Make sure you cure it properly though
