Misting????

While my plants were growing I would often mist them and I was wondering if it would be damaging to the buds if you sprayed your plants while they were flowering? Would this help keep the temperature down or would my hps light just evaporate all the water I sprayed on them?

Spray away, but do not spray while your HPS's are on! HPS lights contain the spectrum that can burn when magnified, and when you spray you leave tiny beads of water on the leafs, which in turn are tiny magnifying glasses.

Yes, i have noticed that my leaves will get little round burns where the water droplets are. I have not tried it at night but i may do it tonight to see how they look in the morning.

If that were the case then EVERY TIME IT RAINED ALL OUTSIDE PLANTS WOULD GET BUD ROT....AND WE KNOW THIS DOESNT HAPPEN!!
