Will mites leave the bud once it has been cut and is drying or will they keep living on the bud making a mess.:?: I just started flushing. Buds look great. Thanks for your input

hang them updise down and they will come out to the top stem where the water is.
Hope you sprayed in the last month so the amounts are knocked down.

Spraying now would make dead bugs in the nuggs.

They came out of mine when hung!

Ok. So when I was an uneducated smoker(knew what weed was but not spidermites. Learned that later on.), I had a sack of bud that I forgot about in my firesafe. Not anything special, but regs. When I found it, there were spidermites(didn't know what they were then, but do now) all over. Kinda webs, but more like nests. The majority of the bud(maybe a g) was turned into powder, or shit, idk. Just my experience. I don't see how they could live on dead plant matter, but.....?

Bugs suck. Next time watch your heat and air. Prevent this stuff. If your outdoors use that organic spray early (early veg) and often (2 to 3 times a week - don't forget the underside of the plant) - spray with lite mist. I know some who use shultz in later veg - this keeps them pretty bug free til flower when they stop and let the plant fend for itself with constant visual care.
