Just for those that missed it https://www.canada.ca/en/services/health/campaigns/introduction-cannabis-act-questions-answers.html

Cannabis for Medical Purposes
Q17. Will a separate medical cannabis system continue to exist under legalization?

Yes, as recommended by the Task Force, the cannabis for medical purposes regime will continue to exist to provide access to individuals who have the authorization of their healthcare practitioner to use cannabis for medical purposes. The Task Force also recommended that the Government monitor and evaluate patients' reasonable access to cannabis for medical purposes during the implementation of the new law, and then evaluate the medical access framework within five years of implementation of the law, which the Government intends to do.
LOL I know a few relieved people once I showed them this. There's some serious stress out there atm and pretty sure there's gonna be a huge change in Canada's economy for a bit if things come true. I'd imagine real estate dealers, car dealer and similar businesses are going to see a huge hit.

New impaired driving laws. @ 0.02 ng/ml will virtually impair most MMJ users. Eat an edible in the morning....get charged with impaired driving later that day. It's gonna happen!
That's only for rec users though, is it not? Thousands of people drive on meds and don't get in trouble for it.

They cant do anything to med people BUTT criminalize them out of the picture!!

it wont work
but it wll take years to get there for rec..all over again like we did.

Well according to the new impaired laws than kicked in a few months back, Cannabis, Pills or anything "If" caught can be big trouble, so at least it is not just targeted at cannabis users....The only real problem is Cannabis smells so it is easier to find, but just because I have it on me does not mean I am impaired thats like saying you have rum in the car your drunk...
