So this is how the story goes...
The Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons want the government to force the Licensed Producers to hand over the "medical documents". They are also going to get Health Canada to hand over the MMAR files.
The reason?...The Colleges want to gather information about who "prescribes" pot, how much, and how often. They also want to know who smokes it and how much they smoke. They want this information so they will be better able to guide their physicians.
Guide their physicians?
This coming from the same group that tells their doctors, in a round about way, to stay the fuck away from marijuana. This coming from a group that is pro Big Pharma.
So...you thought this MMPR wasn't so bad. Get a medical document from a doctor, sign up with an LP, be legal, and keep your privacy intact.
Well, you won't have any privacy any more. How many people at the Colleges will have our information?
It's very very interesting to note why Health Canada doesn't gather the information and hand it over to the Colleges.
Why don't the Colleges just make the doctors hand in a copy of the document when they write one up?
I wonder how the doctors who participated in the MMAR program are feeling?...did you just shit your pants?
Time to get a lawyer onto this pile of privacy breaching bullshit!
Who the fuck does the Colleges think they are?
