Yeah definately gonna try the molasses on 2 of my aurora indicas when its time. I've heard nothing but good things from it, all in the name science, and good smoke.

Has anyone used honey in the same way molasses is used? Why not, it is organic and more natural than molasses. Anyone? Buler?

I use molasses throughout the entire flowering cycle as well as the veg, if they need a growth spurt. Molasses encourages the plant to use all the stored nutrients to maximize growth. So using molasses will grow faster, but you have to watch for defeciencies, if you dont continuously fert .. half strength flowering nutes, with 2 tblspn/ 5 gallon at every feed... use molasses during flush to cut flush time in half ..

vinegar is fine for lowering ph, but if in a resevoir or jug is sitting for a few days, check ph again, because vinegar isnt stable enough to maintain ph for more than a few days

you can get molasses at really any food store, just make sure its unsulphured....now i was told a few days ago that you dont want to use it all the way to harvest cause the trace elements in the molasses could cause your bud to crackle when smoked...i dont know about this exactly, but i got some Organic Agave Nectar, which doesnt have the trace elements the molasses has, but it will sweeten the buds the same... i use the molasses through the grow, then the last few weeks during the flush i use the Agave Nectar to sweeten em up ....ive heard of people using the molasses all the way to harvest, but the other day i was told not too cause of those trace elements and stuff makin the bud crackle...anyone else heard of that??
