Molasses Question

i cant seem to find and Blackstrap molasses near where i live. is it ok to use just regular unsulphured molasses? i'm sure it's not as good but will it still help? and should i use it at the same strength as blackstrap?

yes, use the unsulphured. maybe look for an organic version. any health food store will have quality molasses.

in a pinch, organic Sucanat or brown sugar will work. cheap by the bulk weight. and feed stores often have bulk powdered molasses that is super cheap.

feed molasses is much cheaper and works just fine! In my area it costs around 7 bucks for a gallon. Earth Juice also has a high brix molasses that i think sells for around 10 bucks per gallon, still much cheaper than buying it at the grocery store.
