Monster cropping, and revegging?

I have a revegging plant growing. It's growth has been vigirous. And it's now flowering and I'm impressed at how well she is doing.
Although i have not done it. I know monster cropping is taking clones 1 to 2 weeks into flowering. It seems basically the same as revegging except revegging is done after harvest. Monster cropping is done early in flower. And you obviously can take several clones. Is the growth different between the two processes?

No, Both are monster cropping.

Put a plant into flower and then reveg = monster cropping.

Take clones from a flowering plant and reveg = monster cropping.

Taking a plant from veg, flowering it for two weeks, then revegging, then flowering again for two weeks, then reveg, then flower again for two weeks - you will get 10 pounds from that plant when you transplant it out doors in a 200 gal pot:)

No shit? Is that how they get a plant so big like that outdoors? That's insane, I wondered about that. Badass.

This method must be good for vert grows too then. Be able to bush a single plants to fill a vertical screen.

I guess the only other question I have is, how long to reveg in between two week flower light swaps? I would assume when reverting back to veg there would be a week or two before reveg has set back in. I'm assuming the reveg period is up to the individual grower, so I guess the real question is what are the recovery times?

@Porky101 dropped a bomb, I'm going to be rethinking my furture grows. I'm planning on doing an auto along side a vegging photo, then flip after auto is chopped, and flower. Now I'm thinking about growing those two, flipping for two weeks then revegging as I start another auto. So that would end up being roughly 5 months of vegging with a two week flower period in the middle. So much to think about now!

cool...make a log, want to see how it goes. revegg takes about 2-4 weeks. If a plant has been in flower for 4+ weeks then it may take even longer. Let her flower for two weeks then reveg for two weeks, depending on the plant you have these numbers are a rough guidline.

The buds wont be as big compared to a single cola, you will need to run lots of supports depending on how bushy she gets. It is similar to topping a plant so it gets 16/32 heads, without topping the plant.

Everytime you reveg her, the new growth will be "thinner" than the growth before...if done incorrectly you could land up with a plant that has stems too weak to take the weight of a leaf...you dont want that...experiment...have some fun and you will figure it out:weed:

Good luck:)

Yes as porky has said revegging any plant is monster cropping, it just takes a lot less time if u do it initially by cutting from a flowering plant. If you have a plant that revegg's nicely, it can be a GREAT way to get a plant to produce an insane amount of bud sites. The issue is many strains freak out and grow mutated or curled/spiraled new growth, or tiny stretchy stems that wont hold up buds, or simply the clones from certain flowering strains wont root. Its all about finding a strain that likes this certain technique, i know many people use it to pull insane weight, like 1.5g/w.

I have heard something, which I just remembered, for every week in flower it takes the same to reveg, although I haven't heard about how the new growth would be. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the info!

I have revegged monster crop clone.... Takes about a good month to reveg....... It will start off growing mutated leaves. Some unserrated....some will come out shriveled and the others will grow single serrated leaves and some will have 2-7 fingers UNTILL it stables off.... Then you will get pretty consistant growth. ...

Plant will grow like hell once it reverts back to veg

I'm definitely doing this over the next few months to veg for a vertical grow. Im getting excited now, have been reading a bunch, and ready to put some ideas to use. Purple Kush has 1 week left. Checked trichomes got my mix, just going to give it the week for flushing, also in case she wants to fatten up as well.

As a side note using this bare buld has given me a lot more growing room in my limited space. Having trouble fitting my first photo, well not really trouble, but light was fully raised and buds were approaching glass even though they were seriously tied down. Now instead of tying them down, I'm tying the buds up because they are so heavy they are flopping around.

This is good to know. I have not read this anywhere so you may have saved me a panic attack in the future. Good looking out.

I have a monster cropped plant that revegged and it looks like a sagging fat octopus. It's potent, but far from pretty.

Glad I found this thread.. now I know people are doing on purpose what I did accidentally.. three years ago I put my outside plants out two weeks earlier than usual.. they immediately went into flower... a couple weeks later the weird growth started.. reveged into a very bushy high yielding monster... thanks guys!!
