Delta will be selling product starting june 23rd from what I've been told. But I can't buy any for about a month because I'm on a waiting list.....but I'm very interested to see some reviews next week. Hoping they pull through wit some quality meds
I'm eager to see how Delta 9 does, they are on a much smaller scale than the big dogs, and I like what I've read about them......father-son combo started it all, I guess MMJ was related to the son's university studies and that's how the business got started. I saw a couple of video clips of their operation as well, and liked what they had to say. I'm curious what kind of connections they have or who they are associated with that they were able to get through at the same time as Tweed and these other huge/well-funded operations.

Me too. I saw the video posted on their website with I'm guessing the son going through the grow talking about everything....he seemed very passionate about what he was talking about. That's kinda why I singed up with them. Really hoping a small scale grow will produce better cannabis then big box tweed can.

I like their strain list and that they are straight-up about the breeding origins. I saw the same video you did, and got a really good vibe from the son....he struck me as a smart cat and someone that honestly cares. Their pricing is on the more reasonable end of what we are currently seeing, and they are willing to offer everyone discounts and compassionate pricing based on their own unique situation which I thought was cool.

Looking forward to seeing the results from Organigram and Green Medical as well.

So have we yet defined what "small scale" means? I know I started the argument a while back at 1000kg. I think we got to basing it on weight and not square footage. So....what is small scale?

I don't know if you can say what small means since the market is so new and who know who many customers each PL will have. I can't see people who are sick spending $400-1000+ per month for medicine unless you're a recreational users with more money than brains.

Say an LP has 300 and the average purchase is 3 grams per day so 900 grams per day for all 300 so that's 2 lb per day of weed that is needed or and 60lb per month. Break that up into several strains and seems you don't need that much if you are actually selling to people who use cannabis as medicine.

I would say a small scale LP would have less then 1000 patients total. A company that'll put quality before quantity

I spoke to a rep at Delta-9 today and she said that there is a 6 month wait list so, if I sent my application in tomorrow, it would take around 6 months.

she said they are about in the process of a large expansion (building) that will give them enough space to grow a lot more, so it could be less than 6 months, it depends how easily everything goes.

So I wounded if they will put people on the waiting list with out having to register first. Having to burn through 6 months of your script without and cannabis isn't really fair I'm hoping it will only cost me two months but who knows.

Yes, you can go on the waitlist without registering, I did ask that.

Does anyone else find it crazy that this producers hasn't even shipped out their first orders and they're expanding? Shouldn't the focus be on getting the product right before getting a lot of it? Tweed same shit but they are just going to expand/takeover and grow more crap.

They already got the money from the suckers to last them for the first year with out having to sell a gram. Now why hasn't Tweed and Metrum been charged for trafficking 2200 LB of weed?

once they start growing.....in size that is ....they're going to have to pay MORE to the boss. Prices will go up.

lol charge someone who is licensed to grow meds? Now who would do such a thing?

I talked to them at Organigram today and asked about transferring to them later, if I sign up with someone else first.

He thought it should be easy, just contact the lp you are with and have them send you back your original prescription.

I told him that what I read online, and what Mettrum is telling their clients, is that once you have sent your original prescription in, you can't get it back. That Mettrum has said it becomes their property, and the only way you can switch then is to go back and get another form filled out.

He was clearly shocked and said he was going to look into that, and would call me back this afternoon.

Just heard this back from Organigram:

With regards to transferring your prescription, as I suspected, you absolutely can demand your prescription back to send to your preferred provider. In any event, though we cannot speak for other medical marijuana providers, that is how we here at Organigram tend to such demands; should you, after having registering with us, make a demand for your prescription back, we will be more than obliged to comply with your demand without question. As to how Mettrum handles requests for returning prescriptions, we cannot speak for them. If they do so wish to not return prescriptions, I’m afraid that is their decision to make.

I really do like the Organigram company but I also am not sure that I want to wait until August and then have access to just one strain (which is one I've not tried yet - first one out is Mongolian - so I don't know for sure if it will be helpful) for several weeks.

I think it is, not only more ethical, but also a better marketing strategy to be willing to return the original document to clients.

I spoke to Tilray today. They too have said that they will not return the original document. They think it is not legal to do so...I don't know.
