Movies to watch in October

IT was definitely better as a book, almost impossible to do it justice as a film mainly because the story is just too intricate. But I did enjoy this latest movie, they gave it a good try and it was fun. Unlike that POS they made in the 90s. I didn't realize that this movie was just the first half of the story, but I did ask myself how the fuck they were going to turn an 1,100 page book into a two hour flick? The second half, the movie when they are all adults, will be out in October 2019. That's a LONG wait, I bet the chapter 2 will be better than this first one...

Who doesn't love a good horror movie in October? So I encourage everyone to post their favorites and also suggest which ones to stay away from.

I watched Bone Tomahawk recently and I say, stay away. It had Kurt Russle looking like Wyatt Earp, hunting down cannibal Indians in the western days. I'm thinking how could this go wrong? I'll tell ya how, it was long and boring... they didn't even show the cannibals tell the end of the movie.

The next movie is 31 by Rob Zombie. If you're a rob zombie fan you might like it. If Texas chainsaw massacre and saw had a baby, it would be this movie. Then add sadistic clawns and there you have it. Old school slasher with no real story to it. And of course, it starred his wife again.

I am looking forward to seeing the new Blair witch. I liked the 1st one, but not the 2nd one. So hopefully this 3rd one is good.

Let me know what you guys and gals think. Which ones should we have a look at next?
If you're a sucker for a good horror/comedy "Tales from the Crypt" is a pretty decent movie. It has poor ratings on IMDB but that's understandable for an old B movie as obscure as this. If that's not something you're into I would avoid it but otherwise, id give it a go!

While I thought "Don't Breathe" started off alright I didn't personally care for progression of the story lacking any kind of real explanation. Even fictional/supernatural storylines should have some logic behind them but this movie didn't seem very well thought through.
