Kinda like 2 girls 1 cup lol.

Sorry for the stupid humor. I am brand new here and wanted to show some of my experiments and progress.

I decided to try something, I planted 6 seeds and vegged them until mature, made the switch to 12/12 and only one was male so I threw it out. I took one female and put it outdoors and kept the remaining 4 girls in an 18 gallon storage bin with pro mix and guano. Great mix by the way some of the best cheaper soil I've ever used I'm very happy with it.

Anyway so I have been using LST techniques and training the main stems to grow side to side and then point up for the main colas. They have done absolutely amazing.

Here is the experiment I have done. I grew in the same containers previously and only one per container.

I figured Ine single plant in its own container would be a better way to go but just wanted to see. Never know unless you try. So it turned out that the single one with same lights, soil, nutes, grew to be very healthy and as tall as I preferred.

Now the other container with 4 girls in it have done drastically better. Same bag seed and everythjng. They got bushier, flowered 2x faster and have been swelling up like crazy day by day.

Why would plants grow better when put together in the same pots?

My conditions are not optimal due to lack of funds. I am making due and it's turning out to be quite amazing. Flipped to 12/12 15 days ago and now every section of the plants have more than white hairs their already producing buds and swelling and growing taller daily. I'm only using a 300W hydrogalaxy LED light that's it. And temps are average of 90 degrees during the day and as low as 65 at night. Huge fluctuations I know. But like I said I'm experimenting and on a very limited budget. The only thing I don't lack is space I have plenty of space I wish I could build up my equipment and supplies again. Being broke really sucks.

Anyway just wanted to share and hope for opinions. I don't get bothered by grumpy haters so don't bother being rude. Being rude just makes me question if your really a smoker because we should all be happy and mello. Just thought I'd throw that all out there.

Thanks for the advice I'm still trying to figure this out I've never been a forum member this is my first time. Been growing for years I wish I had known about forums way back then haha it would have helped not go through so much trial and error.

Why would plants grow better when put together in the same pots?

Sharing the same fungi and bacteria improves plant communication at the expense of starvation

good luck

I say, to each their own. Every method of growing has a trade off to consider somewhere.

I've seen people have damn good luck with multiple plants in a large tote. I've also seen the opposite.
