My 10 Year old LowRider Seeds sprouted, for constant cropping, 3 tanks?

Hey guys and gals,

Out of pure curiosity I put my 10 year old seeds to germinate and so far I have 3 good ones! So I'm hoping to have a male and female, I plan of pollinating them to get some seeds that aren't a decade old.. haha

My questions,

I was thinking having 3 tanks, 9 LR plants, so 3 in each pool. I was hoping to have one 15 days apart, with different nutrient cycle, so I have a constant supply.

Now the big question is, what is the best way to have DWC but having separate root systems? I was thinking taking a container and segmenting it with plexi with holes in it to allow flow, making 3 pods in there, same water, 3 different root systems.

Another idea would be to mature the plants to sex in a separate container and transferring it to the system later, but I'm scared of shocking the plant doing that..

Suggestions, ideas? Comments?

All appreciated.

why dont you just do the first grow in soil or seperate containers until you get the feminized seeds discussed in your other post? then once you have known fems you can go ahead and put 3 per container without worying about seperating the roots

First of all, unless you're growing them right on top of each other, the plants will always have separate root systems.

As long as there is enough room for the roots, and enough space between the plants, the root systems shouldn't intermingle all that much.

Putting ventilated plexiglas between the plants won't really help, because the roots can (and will) grow right through the holes in the plexiglass.

Even if the roots were to intermingle a bit, I don't think that's all that big of a deal, but if you really did want zero chance of this happening, why not just grow the plants in separate pots?
