image.jpeg image.jpeg I wanted to share my recent upgrades and get input prior to 1st grow with them.

I bought a "jelly cabinet" online and put only 1 shelf in during the assembly. Outer dimensions are 51H x 22.8W x 12.5D.
I bought a 4" fan/filter combo ~ $85
Glaxyhydro 300w led ~ $120
Program timer, hanging ropes, 2 outlet splitter, fan speed controller, humidity monitor, honeywell turboforce (not pictured) ~ $70
I used a 4 inch hole saw to point the clean exhaust out the back and to bring the duct through the shelf. I used a 1" spade through the shelf for power and one out the back for same.

I converted the pc box to a mother box. Theres a lemon skunk ghs that i cut 2 off of today. They are in the homemade greenhouse with the normal plants for a week.

I transplanted the rooted clones into 8" pots and put them in at 12/12 starting this evening. Im using fox farm ocean forest and tap water.

I dropped a RP sour kush (akaheadband) seed in a 6" pot in my mother box. Ill post once it pops.

I got headband popped in the mother box and the lemon skunk looks like the good pheno based on the mother.

The clones only had bumps on them when i planted them. They took a little while to root. I noticed some canoeing on the new growth, is that because the light is too close? 15 inches is like my whole margin once the plants are on the floor of the cabinet... I can lower them gradually and see.

Sorry for waiting so long to update. I wanted to run out to CO while my plants still needed semi-daily care as opposed to daily. The pots were pretty dry when I got back 48 hours later though.

I dropped it like 2 inches to see if the canoeing improves. I just want to get the most out of my space.

Well, I dropped it even further and Im concerned about having enough space. One isnt looking to healthy, if it dies i can put the filter on the floor and raise the light 6 more inches.

I had an 24w spot led light from Amazon about 16" above seedling and was just too close, may be your problem I know it's not a good light but still too close for seedling.

Ok yall. I'll take some photos tonight. I bought a 150watt hps. The intensity of the led was a problem but the heat was not. The plants won't mind having the hps 8-10 inches away as long as the heat is in check. I'm going to check the ventilation when it comes on for the first time tonight. I'll take pics then. The left one is going to take longer because it rooted about 3-4 weeks after the first one did.

This light better fix this or I found a 72" tall cabinet for 130$. I don't want to spend anymore moneysss. The 150w HPS was about 60$ delivered Amazon.

Well here are the pics. The temp is holding steady at 85 with the lights on. That pic with the 93 is right after i put it on the floor from higher up. I guess ill use my 300w led blurple for indoor tomatoes?!

why are you doing 12/12 from clone? ive always understood that a plant wont begin to flower till its at a certain maturity anyways, using veg lights keeps the plant bushier, builds some structure for the juicy buds to grow on

Because im stupid and impatient. I didnt really have a place to veg but thats no excuse. Ill get em under my t5s for 4 weeks next time and LST the shit out of them to keep em compact. I really wanted to get that lemon skunk in there. I dwarfed them bad by putting them direct into 12/12.

12/12 from clone isnt a bad thing at all and with that much limited space id say it was a perfect idea. And also since its a clone it will start to flower as soon as roots form ive seen a clone grow roots and with in a few days the white hairs were showing but its all personal preference i supose

I have no clue what the yield will be. I smoked a little off it by chopping up a few nugs and microwaving 15 secs and letting it cool. This is the best I've grown so far. I give all the credit to 150watt hps. It has made it about 81F during the day in the box but the buds look so much better and bigger.

I really want to comment on the health of my plants. They were nice green when they were clones and they turned yellow under that led. It didn't torch and fry them all at once but the effect was noticeable at 10inches or so. When I switched to the HPS, they never really recovered but the bud production is happening. The plant on the left has some really ugly leaves. I guess my point is, I'm expecting MORE next time when I have a plant thats healthy green, rooted, and vegged.
