Very nice again ISK, a near meter of plant out of a 1/2 gal of medium. I doubt I'll get 4 times the plant in my 2 gal buckets this next round.
thanks Watts....I think i'll try a 1 gallon pot next time...also thinking of using coco instead of perlite/vermiculite

Sunday was chop day for the 3 gals.

I'm not overly happy with the results, as they should have gone another week but the plants were just fading away, not many healthy leaves left

C - which was the smallest of the three but I do believe it will be the best smoke of the bunch

C - cola - 24 grams
P4090017.JPG

C - next best - 24 grams
P4090018.JPG

C - and the rest = 25 grams
P4090019.JPG

C - the jars - total weight = 73 grams

D - the tallest of the three but still had the exact same weight as B

D: top cola = 20 grams
P4090022.JPG

D: the next best - 22 grams
P4090023.JPG

D: the next bunch = 27 grams
P4090001.JPG

D: the lower left-overs - 10 grams
P4090024.JPG

D - the jars - total weight = 79 grams
P4090025.JPG

and the whole bunch sitting in the food cooler
I typically keep each jar in a brown paper bag and then write on the bag what the contents are....but I ran out so I need to buy some paper bags
I'll let them sit for an hour or so before replacing the lids

P4090028.JPG

then all sealed up...it's like a cigar humidor .... the cigar world calls this the poor mans humidor

Another nice grow ISK. Sounds like the bag seed is some good smoke, that's always a bonus. Well my GDP plants have showed their hands and I ended up with 4 boys out of 6 seeds. I guess it's just 2 girls for this flower run. I'm going to try your indoor sunshine grow style to finish the males and collect some pollen. I've got them in the loft under the skylight.

Thanks Watts...I'm really pleased with them, likely the best smoke I've ever grown

I could tell when harvesting the auto-Jack, that it will never be in the same ballpark as the bag seeds

good luck with the indoor sunshine grow....it doesn't take a lot of direct sunshine to make them happen

My worry is that there will be too many hrs of light, but these boys are fully committed. The fast one should start dropping in the next couple of days. The slowest might have 10 to 14 days.

I jarred the first Jack Herer (J1) for approx 64 grams, but much of it is smaller buds

the jars

a few decent buds

the cola is hiding in there

smaller buds

and the bottom trash

As much as I wanted to chop J2 today, it's just not ready...but next weekend is drop dead date

It's throwing fox-tails like crazy, which seems to be common for these auto's from Crap King
P4200002.JPG
it is becoming quite top heavy, as it just fell over while sun tanning, didn't do any damage.... I added the plastic shoe box on the base to stabilize

Hey ISK, J2 looks like it could be the winner between the JH autos. Only a smoke test in the future will tell.

Final Update:

Jarred up J2 yesterday and was really surprized as she was 86 grams, which was more weight than all the others.

I haven't smoked any of J2 yet but it sure does smell good and is quite sticky..... I'm quite sure it will be better than J1

I'm really pleased with all my plants (especially the bag seeds), as I would have to say this is the best smoke I've ever grown

The top cola and the prime buds

The smaller buds

all in the jars

Yesterday I smoked a joint from my last year's notorious "winter sunshine grow" and I was shocked how tasty it was, maybe not the most powerful pot but very pleasant to smoke...I'm not going to grow my typical indoor sunshine grow this summer, as I still have lots from last year and now this year's harvest is enough for quite awhile

cheers
