The things about tight close ups. I noticed a few nanners on your Flo. Other than that, nice job.
What you see there isn't manners. Just yellowing leaves. Had allot of dying leaves unfortunately. No nanners or seeds though. Think I found one white seed out of the whole rooms trim work.

Making a few scrog adjustments now. Plants are way to tall. Averaging 5'.
They should be under the trellis by nights end though.
After that, I'll give them a few days to adjust then hit the switch.
This should be a good run if the plants dont grow into the lights. I'll have to weeve a bit.

Reall nice work!
All that off 1 , 450 & some Wickeds? Pretty darn good.
How many Wicked watts around the 450?
I just added 3 led 15w spot light bulbs on the backside of mine.

Its like a Lil over 600 Watts or under can't remember but there's 6 9watt cree cxa cobs. With 60 degree optics so spot light so around 48Watts per stick at 26 inches long so almost 150 watts and there's 3 around the se450 I filled 26 quart mason jars dry.

SHite happens aint no ones fault.:hump: (I'm not wrong):P
Wow! That sure does look like a nanner. Good eye. Didn't see any during trim & there was no seeds. Guess I got lucky. Was a very stressed grow though so I wouldn't doubt it.
Flo was one of the few that came out really good despite all the problems. Definitely keeping that strain. Been weeding out strains for the past 3 grows. Finally starting to get a grip on the ones I'll be keeping for the year. Got like 17 new strains blindly. Meaning they weren't tested out by another grower prior to my taking clippings. Big risk on my part. I'll never do that again. Lead to all kinds of problems.
This next grow will determine the final keepers hopefully.
Got a new plant coming this week too. It's from Colorado from a big grower that made it himself. Got no idea what the genetics consist of, just that it around 30% Thc & a heavy indica. Seeing how myself & only 2 others from the East Coast have it, it's up to me to name it. Trying to find out its genetics this week so that I can come up w/ a fairly educated name. Of course I need to flower it out & time it first. Pretty stoked to be getting it.

Just finished up the final touches on the scroggiesh. Bout to set them now. The trellis is now 4' & 4'6". Lights are up as high as I can get them. I'll need some luck w/ this one. Plants are between 4'-5' tall.
Next Amare run. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgGot 10 biggens here but can only really fit 7 to have breathing room. Plus I don't see fitting 2 under a Pro-4 as bennificial. Sure, probably get better GPW that way but I'd rather have nice buds & room to grow. So, 1 plant per light.

Plants are in. 1 week till flower. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg3 didn't really fit unless I cram them. 2 of these have several tops but they are thin branches from lack of wind in veg. So, although they are bigger then some of the ones under the trellis & there's extra room in there, the plants in the scroggiesh are a bit more hearty & vigoris. Tough decision. Might be better off taking 2 of the smaller (less width) plants out & putting the 2 multi-branched (wider ones) in. Still trying to decide. I'd hate to use them but have the buds/colas be puny. image.jpg
The plant on left in the above picture is a sickly Metal Dragon that I attempted to heel. It was Nute poisoned in the beginning of the last grow & was supposed to be flowered then. I'll probobly just cut it down as it never really got back to full health. Done trying to play Doctor recovery w/ a plant that's just to far gone.
The other 2 left over will go in the Cloak w/ vertical trellis.
They are all aggressively loli-popped & thinned out. I literally cut 1/2 of each plant away from the bottom & anything skinny in the middles.

Why lollipop? IMHO, it's just another of many old wives tales that growers tend to take for granted as true

Here's my Diesel as of about a week ago with maybe 2 weeks left- the pistils just aren't giving up yet

Now, I did double defol, the top colas really couldn't be any fuller so why not leave the rest?

Pic one is top colas

Pic 2 & 3 (just taken) begin at the first horizontal bar which is ~ 20" below the light. Each horizontal bar is 19" on center, or almost 40" BELOW the light. Bet there's a good ounce there that would NOT find it's way to the already fat top colas. Just sayin

Super nice plant! Good job bud!
I hear you about loli-popping. I didn't much my first year. Just jacked the plant up on a milk crate & utilized the whole thing spread wide. But that's not for every plant or room. When you've gotta trim 10#'s @ a time popcorn takes a time on you.
I used to leave some lower side growth when I used side lighting with great success.

Yep, If you don't get light down there you going to get a bag full. Great for bubble or butter...

It is a 3+ year old BML SPYDR 600. It is a custom panel. I chose the basic spectrums. The basic design is quite good, however, execution left a lot to be desired. Supposedly the similar Fluence is much better executed

with " cola holders"

ps. those
tiny nanners are ok in final flower.

Are you or anyone else having much success with side lighting on the plants?
I have been searching the net and there's not much info on it.
I'm trying some side lighting this round to see for myself.
I'm wondering if it might be better just to throw all the lights on the top of the canopy?

I use to use spot reflectors about 1/2 down the plant. Used it to basically get rid of shadows. There is a company that is making lights that are on stands. You can search LED side lighting.
