A transplanted.
Going to flower these lil ones like a SOG in these 3gall Potts that are actually smaller then the 2 gall buckets I get from the Depot. This will be my first time flowering like this & doing a pheno hunt too. Not quite sure what I'm doing but I'll figure it out.
Can't decide whether to Cloak them or maybe give them some Amare w/ lenses.

2, 1000's up. Just finishing up the duct work.
On the other side of the room I'll be running 100w cobs w/o the monos. Might run 2 w/ monos if the room can handle the heat.
I have 1 GG & 1 super mystery strain from some fancy breeder to go under each light. 2 of each. I'm also pheno hunting & have smaller LA Woman's to go under each to fill any voids, but I doubt they'll be any. Plus got a big ass Sensi-Star & a medium sized Flo. These GG's & SMS's are monsters. Super topped them about a week+ ago taking 18"-2' off the top. Just bunched them up like a choke & chopped away. So they're about 5+' tall now & will have to get bent under a 3' trellis. Yup, I started the silica.
All's healthy n ready to go.
Bout a week out. Trying to get them in there ASAP.
Boy I hope this is a good run.

Looking good brother @Hybridway !
I couldn't find your post where you said half these led folks are wrong about the heat load contribution vs an air cooled hps but I could't agree with you more.
I saw it first hand - had an 460W inda-gro hanging and swapped for a 1000W hps in a cooled hood and temps dropped substantially. "They" can talk all the nonsense bullshit they want, Air Cooling WORKS
The Vero 18 DIY setup I played with was the same thing, plugged it in and was like "Jesus Christ that driver is fucking HOT"! Makes no sense why the led's being built for indoor rooms don't have a remote ballast option?

Anyways, on the HID's I prefer the 6" Raptors cause #1 I'm cheap like that and #2 I feel you do loose a bit less light down the ducting.
I like mine set up so fresh air is entering each hood, not pulling the hot air from one hood through the other.
I am running 2K of hid and have 1 14" MaxFan that is like 200W running my whole flowering operation.

If I had a large room I would build large intake and exhaust manifolds above so cool air would enter each hood just the same :hump:

Nice set-up Brother OneHit. It actually inspired me to insulate all exhausts. Wasn't easy when I realized I ran out & had to make it myself. Oh well, dedication baby.
Still a rockin that SBA. Looking good!
I actually prefer these big hoods in the middle of the room w/ XtraSun 6"'s w/ 600's lining each side. Mine have allot of wasted light the way they're setup now, covering 4.5'x9.5'. Figured they'd be my best choice for this particular run till I get used to the low ceilings.
So what's it gonna be boys, 2, 1000 Hortri's or 6, 300w LEDs = 1800 cob watts???
image.jpg Now the trick will be fitting 5-6' monsters under a 3' trellis. Lol! Lucky if I'll get 3 on each side. Then I'll have 2 more that I'll have squeeze in somehow.
What the heck I'm gonna do w/ 16 lil Soggers is beyond me. They're not topped & some are 3' tall. Might have to run some in the isle.
It's gonna be a cluster fuck if I do though. We'll see.
