My dilemma

This time last year I was on a feeding tube a a result of Lead Poisoning while working in the field of historical restoration. I was also on 22 pills when marijuana was introduced and now only take pot pills when I can not otherwise afford the real thing which works great. In addition to the stomach issues I have constant headaches and a ringing in the ears which only by pot is relieved. When starting to try what the doctor prescribed I was luck to meet some great people on here, who lets say donated in my health and I thank them and keep them in my prayers. That said I am in hard times and am having trouble now affording the cost. I guess I ask of your help I right now pay $450.00 for a quarter pound and while I know others pay more this is now out of my reach.I have a 10 g a day license but have yet to be able to afford to try the recommended dose due to cost.

So should someone by any other mean happen to have a lets say better deal perhaps you could extend it to a person terrified to go back on a feeding tube.

Thanking everyone in advance for reading this far.

You should really tell your story on John conroy web page they are looking for patients with stories just like yours... As for your dilemma I would contact a lawyer because if you are not able to afford the new prices they are violating your human rights under the constitution.. Charter secretion 7 is what you tell your lawyer.. I hope this helps I feel for ya because if we do not win at the Supreme Court level a lot of us will be in the same boat.. Good luck and keep fighting for your right to affordable medicine... peace grow strong

Not sure if you were trying to poke fun toocrazy... But if you mean... How r you suppost to afford a lawyer when you cannot afford LP's over priced under reasearched medicine ( no offense LP's) well simple it is another right of every canadian that is the right to legal counsel if you cannot afford... Kind of reminds me about some other right!!!! The right to affordable medicine that the government and HC are tiring to violate... I hope this clears things up... Peace grow strong

Hi Tookrazy...sorry to hear about you being poisoned ...and with lead of all things....that is nasty...
There are way too many stories of those who can not afford to supply themselves...regardless of where it comes from...
Though since the government was so anxious to purchase PPS's stockpiled supply as well as bedrocan's stockpiled supply to ensure we all have
something available to us...come the supposed deadline...(fortunately that got put on hold....)
Since Canada now owns a whole lot of bottled up MMJ, I don't know about the rest of the country.so I won't vouch for them ..but if the Gov. wanted to give this PPS or bedrocan meds away for free in the mean time....
to those who absolutely can't afford anything else.....THEN GO FOR IT......

He's probably better off without than having to smoke that irradiated poison, no matter if they are giving it away.

I do not know where to begin with the ignorance of you Joy. Perhaps smoking pot is not the healthiest decision, I know it was outside of my moral compass even having tried it. That said when as a result of the exposure I was given Nabilone once on a feeding tube I decided to try it. It is a derivative of pot and when taking it I suppose my symptoms improved because after being prescribed pot I then decided to try it, again this is out of character for me. I own vaporizers, and if it did not work I would love to stop taking it, But I guess fear of perhaps having a feeding tube in me keeps me doing it. I do not think you understand what losing a 120lbs in a short couple months feels like, or perhaps you are aware and ignorant to think no one else could.

I am far from ignorant. I have been using cannabis as medicine since I was a teenager. Like you I have been on a feeding tube before and have had a number of other horrible medical procedures, I would not wish them upon anyone. I've been a paraplegic since the age of 3 and have constant neuropathic pain because of my spinal cord injury, cannabis is the only thing that allows me to lead a productive life. However the marijuana offered by the government is far from medicine, that was my point, you would be better off without it if you cannot find actual medicine. Next time before you get your shorts in a twist take the time to see what people are actually trying to tell you instead of just assuming they are ignorant, it just makes you look like the ignorant one.
