I'm watching @Rahz CRI comparison to pick my next ones. Right now they look to have better growth. Time will tell as well as yields/quality. That's important more so than picking the middle ground for veg/flower
They do grow more . If you want eight foot plants then cool be my guest. 3k led will make a plant stretch . Ask evil mobo. He used the 3k and had sativa so that matters but all his plants grew stupid tall . I don't use them for veg at all.

Week 2 in the books, 14 days later. These girls have skyrocketed! The second week of flower saw major growth, super healthy. Lots of bud sites with 7 different cultivars in one tent. My two Bodhi Black Raspberry Goji picks are stacking bud sites like crazy and really looking good. The Jaws Green Crack Og is a much wider plant with larger internodes so we are are accommodating but not sure if she will be a keeper in this grow style. If she yields fire I'm sure we will find a way... :)

I sure wish I had a female of Toney's strain. I'm a 1 plant scrog in a small tent guy and not sure how I would sex them before getting to the flower stage. Great postings Perro !
Take a few cuttings and stick them in a cup of water under 12/12 in a box with a small cfl or something.
Or in your veg room and just move em into darkness for 12 hours a day they will show sex easy.

perro your outcomes look top shelf, I was gonna go with a fluence spyderx but after seeing what the cxb 3590s can do I have changed my mind.

Also cant wait to get my hands on the gorilla bubble and give it a go, especially after knowing how much relief it gives tony I have been suffering from sciatica and feel like I could be losing my ability to walk any day now, I am barely able to cope day to day it's so scary.

Thank you @atomicDETH . Sorry to hear about the sciatica, I'm sure the Gorilla Bubble will loosen your muscles and free your pain up. Are you able to build your own light. If so you can save yourself a ton of cash. There are better cobs available at better prices now compared to when I built mine a year ago. Everything from drivers, cobs to heatsinks has opened up and expanded options at far better prices. How much area are you looking at lighting? How much bud do you need or want to produce?

I probably could build the light I have been following growmau5 and led lighting for a long time but it seems a little intimidating probably until I get my hands dirty for the first time that's just how I am with things. I have been reading riu for 9+ years but mainly lurk lmao.

I will be going with a 5x5 flowering tent and honestly not really concerned with yields more so quality and finding the right phenos. I'm in the process of moving so I'm hoping I can find the right space to call home :) I had a Mars hydro 1600 and it was a decent light but honestly found it harder to cool then a 600 watt hps. If I was gonna build I feel comfortable dropping 1000$ to build a solid light for a 5x5 being adequate. I have a plethora of seeds I have been saving to run and still can't stop thinking about buying more, the struggle lol

Oh I understand the struggle, I think I have more seeds then I could grow out in a lifetime.
If you were looking at a manufacturer the Timber framework 900 watt set up would fill your 5' x 5' nicely. http://timbergrowlights.com/900-watt-vero29-v7-5x5-framework/

As for do it yourself there are so many opption now it really hard to keep track. There are some inexpensive cod out preforming the older best in show. 800 - 900 watts would do the job, just have to find the cob you like and map out the brivers needed. Everytime I stop in a grow shop and see their 5' x 5" tents I'm like so much space... :)

3 weeks in, 21 days later and there is a tent full of happy girls so far. My humidity is higher then I like, these girls like to transpire big time. I hope it evens out a bit before they get thick, this is really the only time of year it gets to around 60% humidity in the grow area. There is frost starting to form up on the leaves and we are stacking hard, happy days... :)
