The Res. are 2 1/2 gallon containers.

2 Airstones per pump, 1 pump per Res.

I plan on growing 2 in each container.

Do you think there is enough bubbles?

And will 2 gallons be enough for 2 plants?

Lemme know what you guys think!:bigjoint:

I am new to this myself, but it looks to me like you definitely have enough bubble action going on there.

I have the same walmart issue pump and stones. I only have one pump and two stones in a 10 gallon res with about 7-8 gallons of water and the inside of the lid stays wet as well as my cups, rocks, and wool.

one question tho

In your res bins, is there enough room so that the net cups will not be submerged in the water?
Or maybe that is ok and not a problem?

looks good

Set up a netpot with hydroton and rockwool but no seed and test how wet it gets. Read the link below. I would say 2 gallons for 2 plants might greatly limit the size of theplants. If you want small plants fine, if not you might get more yield from one plant per than 2.

Yea i was thinking that that might be a problem, but all the other tubs that i could have used for the bins seemed too big for the pumps that i am using.

Shit, hope i didnt waste my money!(10 bucks for the 2 res, and 5 for a can o spray paint)

I was using a res about the size of Dookie's, and it just didnt seem like it bubbled enuff...

THats why i went with something smaller, but shit, guess i failed again...

When you don't have enough bubbles the way to go is more airstones and a robust air pump instead of the aquarium stuff.
