This is going to be a step by step, detailed review on my journey to becoming legal under the MMPR. All patient accounts so far have been kind of hard to follow, from filtering out frustration to picking out comments from thread to thread and trying to piece it all together.
Getting my Prescription:
Printed off my forms, I had been scared to ask my DR. about it for years because i thought he would tell me to fuck off. He was actually quite open to it agreed to sign my script.
Registration:
My documents took 4 business days to reach BC from NS.
Once received, the team at Canna Farms have been very helpful so far. Always pleasant and answered my questions directly, even when i grilled them about the late releases on their July strains.
They gave me step by step updates on progress through the process.
My doctor took FOREVER to fax them back and verify my prescription. (roadblock #1)
Attempt at Making My First Purchase:
My strain of choice is Green Crack. They don't have any. (roadblock #2)
I decided that I would buy a gram of each other strain to see if any of them could produce similar effects.
They are sold out of 1/g portions and I'm not about to spend 200$ on medicine that I may not like. (roadblock #3)
The Red Cherry Berry is recommended for what I want, but it has a 5% (+/- 3%)THC level and no CBD ..so I'm thinking no lol.
How the fuck are they sold out of 1/g portions yet they have 25/g portions? Are they trying to say that they took EVERYTHING they harvested and pre-packed it in 25/g segments? They don't have any safely stored in their vault that isn't pre-packaged ? The size options are 1/g,10/g and 25/g.(Irrelevant because you can select 1/g and then select 7/g under the quantity menu) I wouldn't mind spending the money if I knew I was getting the strain that worked for me, but I'm not about to spend anymore than what a gram is worth if I'm unsure of whether it'll be effective or not.
Not purchasing until I have some better options.
