My first grow... Is it me or the breeder(lots of pics)

Hello everyone! I am in the middle of my first grow and it isn't going so well at all(30 days into flower). 4 of my plants have hermied and 1 might be hermied now(think I found a seed). Before you say I stressed out the plants causing such things, read my setup and tell me if its either me fucking up or I just got my seeds from the wrong breeder or strain.

First let me give you a little background on myself when it comes to growing and the setup I am running. My family has been growing for many years, but this is my first year growing. So I wasn't a 100% noobie going in, but still, my first grow. I have 1 5x5 tent and a 4x4. I bought my seeds from the seed banks attitude and thevault. Thevault honestly seemed better with good customer service, but they need to update their stock more frequently, hence the reason why I had to go over to attitude(I really wanted the white russian and ak-47). I did a good amount of research when it came to breeders and what I specifically wanted, serious seeds seemed like a good fit(Simon). I honestly hope I just did something wrong in my grow, cause I have heard that his reputation is extremely good, and the last thing I want to do is hurt someones reputation due to a mistake of mine that I just overlooked. The strains I bought were serious happiness, motivation, ak-47, white Russian and a few others. The only ones I am not growing currently is the white russian and AK-47, wanted to save those for the second round once I got a feel for my growing area. I also got a few freebies and threw one in there just to see what would happen. The freebie hasn't hermed. Its the tall ass one to the right in the 5x5.

There were 7 in the 5x5 and 3 in the 4x4. I had to get rid of 4 in the 5x5 due to herm. The 5x5 tent is a gorilla brand grow tent bought brand new. and the 4x4 is an apollo brand that sits in the closet. I noticed the herm second week into flowering(pic below) and I also started a thread here on these forums when it happened because I was in denial. So lets get into the grow environment to see if stress actually caused the herm... My temps range between 68-80. But on average stay around 73, 68 is at night. I use flora trio nutes, RO water, calmag, and hydroguard. My nute schedule is in the pic below. I have a PH meter and PH kit so I can make sure the meter is on target. I have always kept my PH at around 6.0. Humidity, had problems the first 2 weeks due to low humidity(16%), didn't seem like it was affecting the plants much, but I still bought a humidifier, hung up wet towels and so forth to bring the humidity levels up around 60% for the rest of the veg. Nutes, had problems in the beginning on 2 plants, they were experiencing cal/mag def. But quickly fixed that just by upping the dosage of cal/mag. Other than that, it has been smooth sailing. I grow dwc, my res temps have always been around 68 degrees with insulated reflective gear wrapped around each 5 gallon bucket. Roots have been pearl white basically throughout the whole grow, you can see pics on my other threads, but if you want to see them again I can always upload more pics. I have a big fan blowing above in the tent, one small going just above the plants/under the light, and one down below sitting on the ground(same for both tents). The air exchange/circulation is rather good. Also I should mention, I topped all the plants once during veg(I think the 2nd week) except for 2 out of the 10 plants. The only problem I had was that it was a little crowded I guess in the tent, but the plants looked healthy. Also, there were no light leaks what so ever.

Today, one of my plants in the 4x4 has something weird on top of the bud, looked brownish and almost like a seed... So I took some tweezers and gently pulled it out, I still can't tell. It was brown, but I could easily squish it with ease. So im not 100% sure. Its probably my best looking plant too! Have had zero problems with that plant, 100% green leaves throughtout its life. SUPER FROSTY so far and basically just looks delicious. I took a close up pic on the bud where I pulled the brown looking seed from(literally right on top of the bud). Also, I am doing a little LST, but EXTREMELY LIGHT, nothing intense what so ever. Just moving the branches a little to the left or right(you will see the strings in the pics.

Please tell me what you think, am I doing something wrong that I am not seeing? Or do I just get shitty luck with the genetics I received. Thanks everybody! Happy growing!

Looks like you seem to being doing good. Except for all those Bananas. o_O
I would think you got some messed up seeds.
Have ordered from Attitude myself.
Didn't have a problem with hermies. But, with poor germination. I don't buy anything from them anymore.
Damn, we have a saying here in Hawaii. " eh, Lose Money"

In the dark cycle of course. Then if that’s not it, look for lights on equipment possibly too inyiur tents. Then try from clone once and if they still herm it’s genetic

Thanks for the replies everyone!

@Ringsixty That is what I am thinking, some messed up seeds. attitude sent little baggies full of seeds saying they were from seriousseeds while thevault seed bank sent the original packaging from the breeder. I asked original packaging from both, so honestly who knows what I got from attitude seed bank.

@Dankonomics_genetics No light leaks, I have checked multiple times. The only equipment I have that has some light on it is the powerstrip. But that is on the outside of the tent and not really close. I poked my head through the tent and it is 100% darkness. And the 4x4 tent is in a closet, so literally no light.

@mmsmms123 What you love is what I absolutely hate, but everyone has their own tastes.

Stable seeds are the big thing. Good breeders if your in the us there are plenty of seed banks here no need to order out of country. Take some pics either in regular light or through some hps glasses if you have them.

@Lordhooha Do you have any US seeds banks that you recommend, strains? I am not a big sativa fan, more of an indica or hybrid. But mainly indica as I smoke to help me sleep at night. And I can take some more pics right before the hps lights come on. I am having no problems with the plants left over, minus the one that I think I found a seed in. Its just the fact that 4 of them hermied for sure when I didn't do anything wrong when it comes to stress. Just very frustrating.

I do mostly Indicas or hybrids brothers Grimm and exotic are some of my favorite breeders for some time.

@Lordhooha Thank you so much!! Will try them out.

@macsnax Have already done so. When the lights were on inside the tent, there was a little light coming out the side of the tent so I covered that up with some duct tape. But that was about it.

@Nafydad420 Correct, 12/12

Just to let everyone know, this room is dedicated to growing. There is literally no light when lights are off in there. Door is shut and everything is sealed. Only time I turn on a lamp in there is when the lights are on in the tent.

It may be shit genetics then but I’d like to see the plants overall in regular light so we can something you might not have seen. Some of the leaves did look a bit light in one pic but would like to verify.

Sorry for everyone that has been waiting for the pics. There is a reason why I have the lights on at night, only time I am ever home! and when I am done working on my plants I just pass out haha Anyways, I plan on uploading some pics with regular light here soon.

But in the meantime, I forgot to upload one of the pics where there is some weird growth on top of the bud(the same plant where I THINK I found a seed but wasn't for sure). Here are some more pics of that plant, if anyone could tell me what the hell that thing is growing on top, that would be great. I am also pretty sure those are seeds growing in my buds, but again not for sure. Need someone with experience to identify this. I took it from many different angles so you guys could see, the last four pics are of the same weird thing on top of the main cola, just on the other side. So one side it looks like an over-sized seed is forming while the other side is kind of more open with white hairs. Really weird and honestly just want to get this grow over with and start a new batch, nothing but problems when it came it hermies... Thanks everyone.

My suggestion light leaks is pretty standard for noob nanners

But then plant stresses come to play

Then genetics :)

You can fix anything as long as shes in veg

Flowers a different story
