My First grow

So i planted these babies at around may 28th my set up is this:
One T8 fixture with 4 Daylight bulbs each have 32 watts of out put and are 48" long along the edge of this fixture are 3 daylight 100 watt CFLs i put those lights there for side lighting since i know that the fluorescent tubes will seldom penetrate the dense canopy the also i have recently added a center CFL 150 watt that is in the red spectrum in the middle of my grow set up. my hopes are that this bulb might enduce the plants to pre flower they are about 6 weeks old, and 4 weeks in to veg, when can i expect to see some preflowers so i know when to cull out the males? im also waiting to re pot the plants untill i can tell witch ones are male and female this seems most logical to conserve money i will post pics and more questions in the weeks to come

regarding the repotting, i think you need to go ahead with it now, those plants look way to big to be in those cups and it could start effecting them badly so they might struggle to show those pre flowers

other than that looks good so far

into what size container should i plant them, i want to minimize the amount of pot that i have to buy

other notes i went by the hydro shop today and picked up some of the fox farm products that i will need to bloom these babys

well anything bigger will help, plants can get stressed when you repot so you dont want to be doing it too much, at least 3 times bigger than what u have should be ok

at least 3 gallon pots,,, and hurry

alright due to the suggestions of the great people on this board i have went out and purchased some 3 gallon pots hopefully i will repot tonight or tomorrow depending on my weather or not i go out . would it be too much stress on the plants to start FoxFarms Grow big after transplanting?

if your repotting into good soil, then u should not need to feed nutrients for a couple for a week or 2. you can feed but perhaps quarter strength

ok after a frantic replanting session tonight i culled out a totaly of 20 plants (some of them were some bad shwag anyway) im left with 6 plants in 3 gallon containers and 12 plants in the smaller 4 inch cups ( just incase one of the 6 in the pots is a male at least ill have some thing to replace it with) its been a busy day in the life of a noob time to light up some K town

you really need a fan to get the air moving arround.

so after a nice photo shoot i have some new questions, there is one photo with a leaf that has a yellow leaf on it what do i do to prevent the yellowing of these leafs its not a major issue in my garden right now but i was just wondering also any guesses on when i will be able to sex these plants?

Well today i had a bit of luck i found a bigger pot on the side of the road and was able to transplant some more plants in to bigger containers, i applied fertilizer last night 1/4th power to my newly potted plants im thinking of cutting down the lights soon and building a grow box, im opting for a more cheap grow setup for right now i dont have a dollar to my name. in 2 weeks though i will have many dollars all to my name and will be able to construct my bloom box before my parents show up on the 8th, the clock is ticking indeed

It looks like a nitrogen deficiency,so i advice you to give your lady's some feeding with nitrogen and it will be better in a few days.

but i was just wondering also any guesses on when i will be able to sex these plants?

you can always on every time make a clone to get to know the sex of the plant.Just put the clone in 12/12 and you will see it afther a day or nine.Afther the clone get roots you can grow on with it in 12/12 or put it back to 18/6

btw i see that most of your plant have yellow leafs so i really advice you to give them nitrogen as soon as possible!

when your lovely lady's are in the veg grow they need a large quantity of nitrogen it will make them bigger and grow faster,when you start to flowering stop giving nitrogen and give them lots of fosfor to make big buds.

alright just got home from my new job and had some time to spend with the girls the nitrogen issue i think will be addressed with FoxFarms Grow big. if im mistaken on this let me know! also my water regiment is once a day should i up this? AND after closer examanation of my plants they have finaly preflowerd, well at least some of the bigger ones, i was able to identifie 2 females and one male, the male was culled out to make room for the female
