My First Harvest Ever

Anyway,

It was about time to chop off the top halfs from each plant,
I got a total of 22 grams dried.
Took about 40 hours to dry

It tastes and smellls sooooooooo gooooood
It kinda tastes like fruitish/pinaepply


I will be harvesting the bottom halfs after they mature a bit more.

So you took your plants main colas down without the rest? Can't say I've had any experience with that, but have heard bad things....

Theres above 6" height of plant left.
but about 100 buds that were premature.
U cant get bad results if they arnt done.
Ud get worse results if they wernt if ya ask me

Do use think sooner is better than later , when it comes to the chop ?

The hairs that were white go brown once its left in the dark to dry and when its left a bit to long the smell seems to go a bit I thought

I go for when its cloudy myself chopped them down this morning ,
Im thinking weather i should put the bottem half of my plant back under the light to let them imature bud grow more will this work ?

In my experience that's a bad thing, but I really don't know. For me, when the main cola gets damaged or removed, the rest of the buds just stop developing for long enough to matter.

I have been told by many people that you should cut half the plant down first since there will always be smaller premature nugs ont he bottom.

I let them go 2 days in dark before I chopped half the plant down, then I am going to put them in 2 days of dark again before I chop the bottom half down.

This is what I am doing.

So after you cut the whole plant down, you want to take the bottom half and put it back under lights? Am I getting it right?

i think hes guna let the lower buds develope more?

Chiceh, you crack me up! He is just going to cut most of the plant down, and let the bottom half stay rooted, so to mature the bottom popcorn to little nugs..I love your avitar by the way, every time I scroll down and I see that creature I have to take a second look! LoL

lol, that makes more sense to me now, duh. I was thinking he was going to put the bottom half of the plant back under light after he cut the whole thing down, lol. Why not just trim off the ripe buds as they ripen? Will that work?

Hello and how are you?

How about next time,,at week 2-3 of 12/12,, remove the little stuff, underneath, that you know won't develop into a head. This will do a few things; 1. increase air flow from down under ( co2 is heavier than air). 2. All energy will go towards the development of the tops. 3. outdoors it may keep critters from climbing etc.....mainly air flow and the wasted plant energy.... Plus all buds out of the area at once so the next bactch of clones waiting in the wings , can be placed under your main light utilizing the resources better. Ya don't get much anyway right?

I always pull the big main buds and let the little stuff have a little more time and I have never had any bad results.They just keep growing but if you let them go too long it can make the bud start putting chutes out of the middle of them
