My First Legal California Grow

What's up folks, newbie here, cheers!

Seeds are Blueberry autoflower females. Since we legalized here in Cali I got my first set up together. 2'x2'x4' tent, cheap 300w LED, 3" baskets in a 3.5 gal bucket, 2 air pumps running mainly in case one burns out at some point. Just feeding them the nutes that came with the DWC package @ 50% and Hydroguard.

I will update as it comes along weekly. Fingers crossed.

My girls today, one week later. The rear girl is 14 days in pot, the two short fatties in front are 11 days. Roots on all are sparkling white. :bigjoint: I just use Brita filtered and ph'd tap water, changed weekly. My bucket temps hover in low 80's fahrenheit so the Hydroguard is doing it's job well!

I germinated the front two fatties by soaking seeds in water until they sank, then put in coir pellets until the little heads were big enough to bury in the pots. The girl in back was put in rockwool to germinate, and we can see the difference in character. The coir pellets brought the two in front up short and fat, while the rockwool left the other girl in back tall and lanky, she keeps falling over while the other two sit tight in their pots. So I give coir pellets 5 stars, rockwool 2 stars.

I topped the girl in back yesterday, and it seems no delays on rebounding, she is bouncing right back. The girl in front right I am going to FIM tonight and the one left of her I am just going to let it do its thing, maybe a little LST . A little experiment with same strain autos, 3 plants, 3 techniques.

Have fun! I Love this state!
Been growing legally here for 15+ years...
Sheriff visited my house 2 years ago the day after my divorce finalized.
He looked at 44 plants and said: "Beautiful Plants!"

A friend of mine grew 200 in coco pots in a tree above his house.
The Sheriff department came, checked around - they never went
up into the tree...

Hope that first batch of smoke comes out like a dream!

My weekly check in with updated pics.

All very green and healthy still, with nice white roots. Last water change I switched nutes to Fox Farm Grow Big & Big Bloom. Keeping PH between 5.5 - 6, haven't had any major fluctuations and keeping PPM's between 900 - 1000.

The girl at bottom front is the topped girl in which I just did a second topping a couple days ago. She is already starting pistils at 3 weeks old, the other two show no signs. I remove a leaf or two here and there on all of them. Her leaves are a much darker green than the other two.

The middle girl is all natural aside from a couple trimmed leaves and she is same size as front girl at 4.5 inches, no pistils yet.

The girl in rear was fully pruned last week and out of all, she is the tallest at 6 inches, no pistils yet.

Week 4 update.

The girls are exploding with growth. But they all have different characteristics: one is tall & spread, one is fat & bushy, one is short (I topped 2x) and popping buds at 4 weeks old. The other 2 just getting some pistils in last couple days, so switching to 100% Bloom nutes on next water change in a couple days.

It smells like heaven in here.

Week 5 update

Switched to Fox Farms Big Bloom and Tiger bloom a few days ago. I cannot believe the growth on them in one week, they are drinking a gallon of water a day. Buds are coming in nicely, and through the 5 weeks of grow everything has stayed nice and green and healthy.

I been raising the ppm's with nutes by 100 points a day, from 700 in veg and currently sits at 1500 ppm, as there is two in one tub, I will keep raising until I see any sign of over feeding. I have kept PH at 5.8 throughout the grow, it seems to be the magic number.

I hope the upward growing slows down, my tent is running out of room. :weed:
