My fucking neighbors are pushing it with their grow

Even though I live in a legal state my number one rule on my grow has always been about being discreet, live like a normal person, and don't be a hindrance to the neighborhood.

About a year ago some jackasses from out of state rented the house next door and proceeded to turn the entire house into a grow house. You can smell weed halfway down the street, loud extraction fans coming from the backyard, every window from top to bottom completely sealed. The dumbasses even setup a permanent hash extraction setup on their back porch with PVC pipes running everywhere, it's like they're trying to throw it in peoples faces.

For a while I thought it was kind of funny but now I realize they're just a bunch of hillbillies ruining the neighborhood and driving property values down. The house went from a nice middle class house with a nice green yard to a run down dump with nothing but a dirt yard and trash every where. I've literally had people knock on my door asking me if the smell is coming from my house. About 6 months ago I told them they need to be more discreet and was told I'm just an anti-weed asshole that shouldn't live in this state if I don't like it...lol. I was very tempted to tell them I grow but I'm glad I didnt give into the temptation. There is no way they are legal (12 plant limit) so it's just a matter of time, and I don't need anyone knowing my shit. Sucks there are such ignorant fucks that grow.

Idiots... Keep your shit legal and sadly these dumbasses won't be your problem any more soon. You almost feel bad for them getting busted, but it sounds like they will have brought it on them selves.

I can see how that would pose a problem. I too like to keep my grow as discreet as possible as well. Not just because, well it is kinda rude but, because like you said, "I don't need anyone knowing my shit." Some lazy fuckers like to steal plants that you spent 4 months or so working so hard on.
I think the major issue with that is like you said. It drives property value down and I believe it gives growers a bad name. We worked so hard fighting this Prohibition just so we can grow a few pants. Then these assholes come along and mess it up for the rest of us.
In our state we are aloud to grow 6 plants. That is more than enough if you ask me. No selling or buying yet but, I have had a Med Card for a couple of years now.
I am hoping to have a good grow this time around so I don't need to buy anymore.

I can't believe they set up an extractor on the back deck. Is it a BHO device? I worked for a care giver for a while that was the same way. He didn't have any carbon filters, was growing way too many plants, and had a rigged vacuum oven for BHO extraction hidden in his basement. Making BHO is illegal around here BTW. Well anyway his neighbors were always complaining about it. He kept bragging on how he was all organic but, when he got a spider mite infestation he made me spray non- organic chemicals on the flowering plants.
That is when I had enough and quite. I couldn't deal with such a genus, as he called himself. It is sad when money is all they care about and the plants suffer for it. On top of the spider mite issue everything was getting covered in Powder Mildew, ewwww! I tried telling him the environment was really bad but, he was too busy spending money on cocaine, butane, 4 wheeler's, dirt bikes, and a boat.
I couldn't for the life of me figure out how he kept his caregivers license. I though everything had to be tested.
Anyways I am sorry for the rant but, it just really gets on my nerves when people like that make it harder for us to keep prohibition away for good.
Just want to grow my medicine.

Peace

A PVC Butane system ! ! In their back yard !

Sounds like that problem will solve its self

I dont know how close theirs is to yours, But that could be a serious concern for yourself and the fire dept.
Right that shit scare the hell out of me. When I worked for a guy making it I was always worried I might get blown up one day. I did try some of the BHO shatter and it made me kinda sick to my stomach. Usually smoking helps me with nausea. I smoke rosin dabs all the time and it never makes me feel crappy like that.
Peace

It looks like some kind of homemade natural gas compressing station, complete with duct tape and a lawn chair.

What the hell

You need to investigate.

I think I see what you're describing, looks like some of the setups are laying on the ground upside down. At first glance it looked like something ran into the ground.

It's a deep water type system. The plants are grown at each station. The roots grow down into the main pipe. A pump circulates water through the main pipe in a closed loop with a res. The res is bubbled.

And they spent too much.

I've built much better with tuff boxes and 5 gallon buckets.

Not trying to sound like a bitch or a snitch, but if you asked them to to tone it down and keep their grow discreet and they told you to Fuck Off, then I'm sure the landlord would like to know about them destroying his or hers rental properties value.

I know from experience that confrontation with unruly neighbors can get real ugly, so be prepared, however you chose to deal with the issue.
