My miracle plant, accidental.

So I bought one of those grow your own flower kits from the dollar store, a friend of mine decided to be funny and drop a seed on it. Needless to say the weed plant grew & the rose did not. I’ve never had a green thumb which is why I bought a one flower kit for my kitchen window. I’m not exactly sure when it was planted. Anyways it is an indoor plant & it’s been kept under the lighting schedule of the sun in a window up until yesterday. I have recently moved in to a corner in my room with 24/0 lighting using a daylight led bulb by GE (waiting on my grow light to arrive). Room temperature stays between 68-75 it’s currently about two feet tall & in a 5 gallon bucket, I do plan to transport into a bigger tub ASAP! Although a long time smoker never been a grower, but with my “miracle plant” as I call her I can’t just toss it out and feel okay with that. So I need any advice possible. And if it helps determine the stage, the picture attached in the little skull pot was taken on March 29. Am I ready to enter the flowering stage how can I tell? How do I switch from vegatative stage into flowering? Tips on moving your plant from bucket to tub? Male/female(i was thinking female from what I have read in other forums/discussions)? Does is look healthy? What should I change about my plants living situation from your view? Etc anything helps! I wanna try my best to be successful with my miracle plant. Especially if you guys can help me positively determine it’s a female. Thanks so much! Much Love Y’all ❤

looks like its starting to develop sex organs but the pictures are to far away and to blurry when i zoom in to tell what type. See if you can get a nice closeup to that tiny little node growing in there.
I veg mine until i get my first signs of hairs then depending how big she is ill flip to flower. To flower just switch her to 12/12 with no interruptions. Looks healthy to me keep at it growing is trial and error you can read about it all day but you need the hands on.

Gotta be quick here caught this just before going to bed.
1. Looks fem to me but get closer pic's of the nodes.
2. Get more 6500K Daylight like 4 of them @ 23 watts and surround the plant. Pull plant up outta that bucket and fill it half way with soil. Raise that plant up.
3. To flower you change light cycle to 12 hours on 12 hours off. Light spectrum changes to 2100k -2700k so your bulbs gotta change. ( in a CFL this is called "soft white") You're ready to flower when you can accommodate your plants current size being 3 times that when finished.
4. looks healthy, ish. A little light starved. but surprisingly good.
5. What kinda grow light you got coming?
Will chime in with better details later. Check into these points of interest. it will lead u the right way.

2. So it will be okay in the bucket with more soil added? Or still move to a bigger tub?
3. Do you suggest going into flower stage now or did I read you right when you said it should be 3 times this big first? Do I start the flowering stage automatically or ween the plant from light?
5. Picture added of grow light. Trying to get the fastest fix possible, so I just got a bulb that I can use in my lamp. Thanks so much for your time.

2 Same bucket is plenty large enough. Pull plant out fill halfway with soil and stick her back in and give a good water.

3 He means its going to be 3 times bigger after you flower. so if your limited on space..... ect

Picture is at the wrong area to tell, looks like female but
prefemale.JPG
Look here for preflowers, pointy tends to lead to female if you have the pistals (hairs) then def female. Male tends to have rounder shaped preflowers.

Hey y’all me again, in your guys opinion am i ready to start the flowering stage? I really don’t wanna jump the gun, Like I said before I’m not really sure on my plants age.
Can you? Yes but doesnt appear to have much bud site but waiting more or less at this point wont change much unless you can feed them with more light..

Won’t change much? So does that mean they are in rough shape? After adding more soil, a tad better light, and a fan they have shot up some. My grow light should be here by Monday
I guess it all depends what you expect from your grow. If youre in no rush id wait for your new light to arrive plug that in and veg your plant under it for 2-3 weeks before switch to flower.. also relooking at it.. do you have any airflow for your plant? It will help build stronger stem.. not too much but a little breeze should help.. I suggest for root pruning and better air in your soil to drill holes in your pot for your next grow it will provide a lot of added value at the expense of just some of your time..(you can read on air pot/ smart pot- same concept except you build your own).. leaves are looking a bit droopy maybe a bit overwatering? Make sure soil is dry before watering I bet they probably dont drink much at this stage anyway.. looks like you have some space around your pot- maybe try topping your plant, it should provide some extra bud site.. also next time id fill your container with soil you just filed half of it or so..

Just a few tips here and there take whatever you like and discard the rest.. you plant look good overall but id expect only fluffy or very small quantities dry from what I see in the picture but will also really depends on the light you will be using.. but if thats fine for you thats all that matter really

Thank you so much, all of the above was very helpful. Even if it’s to late for this grow I plant to try again in the future I hope to try again with better seeds so all are helpful. I didn’t even know this plant was coming so hopefully I can start a plant from beginning to end soon.

The first set of pics looked healthier than these last ones but it looks like its not as starved for light so that's a good thing.

You're fading a bit which isn't good and your stems are purpling, which can be a lot of things but I think you're running into a problem.

What are you feeding her?

I can't recommend MegaCrop enough.. I imagine it could help you out a lot.

Good luck!

You can flower from seed if you wanted to. I have for reasons. Age don't matter. But your available light source dows. I can tell you right now if you were to flower this moment, you would NOT have sufficient lighting to carry the process out.
